"I'm at #3 with the WBC so maybe an International fight early in the new year."
Mick Hennessy reckons Froch will face Lucian Bute early in the new year as a WBC eliminator, and face the winner of Kessler v Librado Andrade, who he says are fighting in March. There was also a somewhat weary call-out of Calzaghe, which they seem to think is par for the course now.
Nice... 8)
Though to be honest I don't think Kess-Andrade will go through....
Re: RBR Carl Froch v Tony Dodson - BBBofC Super Middleweight belt
Corcoran puts Hughes on his knees with a good right cross in rd4. Hughes also cut over the right eye. Rd 5. Good rights from Corcoran knocking him back. Hughes coming back. Good jab knocks Corcoran's head back, but he throws a good right himself. Corcoran looking to finish him, but Hughes scoring the points. Good right rocks Corcoran. Two great rights stun Corcoran towards the end of the round. Hughes might be edging this one with three rounds to go.
Re: RBR Carl Froch v Tony Dodson - BBBofC Super Middleweight belt
Rd6. Can't believe Corcoran is not able to put this guy away, he was reputed to be oe of the best around, but doesn't look good at this weight anyway. The stances are combining for an exciting fight anyway. Hughes is fancying this one, throwing jabs and straight shots, while Corcoran looking for the bigger wider shots. Good right connects hard with Hughes' nose. Bleeding stopped for now. Corcoran working harder., looking better into the stretch. Scheduled to go 8. Good left byHughes to finish. Tied round, but I reckon he's still edging it by a round or two. Rd7. Hughes jabbing and hooks connecting. Corcoran looking to bully Hughes back, body shots and hooks. Good right hook shakes Hughes up. Jab by Corcoran rocks Hughes back, he looks to tie up. Great straights and jabs from Hughes, Corcoran has nothing to throw back. Corcoran tries to throw something back but fails. Hughes may have punched himself out, Corcoran slips. Both look exhausted. Corcoran for losing the weight, and Hughes after his last fight two weeks ago. Hughes jabs and straights are winning this fight. Corcoran has to look for the kayo, but I don't see it happening. Corcoran still can't find any big shots. Good right rocks back Hughes' head. Four in a row from Corcoran, and Lee Cook steps in. That is daylight robbery!!!! Hughes stands and poses grim-faced, but Corcoran is slumped in his corner. That ref should be ashamed of himself, that was Hughes' biggest win of his career, and that stupid ref spoiled it for him.
Re: RBR Carl Froch v Tony Dodson - BBBofC Super Middleweight belt
Hughes and trainer Michael Marsden believe he was robbed, Marsden said: "There's no point complaining about it, we'll just get on with our work." Corcoran has been handed the flukiest decision i seen in a while, and his face looked much more torn up in the post-fight interviews. History will say a stoppage, but it was an absolute disgrace! The ref saved Corcoran from a defeat which would have really damaged Corcoran's rep. Hope that bung paid for his bus fare home.
Anyhow, I'm out and off to the TV to drink more and watch cricket all night. Come on England!

Dude, if I'm honest, doingan RBR lets me analyse a fight byeach round rather than looking at a thing as a whole, which makes me understand the way that a judge brings forward his views.

Cocoran/Hughes is easily my UK fight of the year O0
"i've got a harder face than you" type of affair.
And well done Froch.
The right uppercut done the damage ;)

Feck me man, how can you possibly see that as a fight of the year. Technically it wasn't great and Hughes got hit over the head with a stick and had his wallet and mobile nicked by the ref.
