didn't cry but found the end of Blakes 7 quite upsetting as a kid. Watched series for years and then one by one they all get killed at end.
Couldn't believe it !
only 2 have ever made me cry...
when i was a kid
and one on sky just last week :o
kid: the champ
last week: Notebook :-[
I don't usually break down that often but Ladder 49's ending was just too much. I still fully maintain that it is not ok to breakdown in a movie theater but if you're in the viewing of your own house who's gonna be the wiser?
I don't cry and I don't get embarassed. Basically, I'm emotionless (except for anger). Medically speaking, one might suggest that I'm psychotic. (no joke) I'll fucking kill you.

I think the only films where it is at all acceptable for a man to cry are when the film is a true story.Quote:

The only two films that as an adult have made me teary eyed are
The Pianist, brilliant but utterlly harrowing and heartbreaking film, especially the bit at the end where the Russian soldiers start shooting at him because he's wearing a German uniform. Was one of the best and most heartbreaking films ever made imo.
The other film was the Elephant Man which is just a 2 hour long cry fest throughout. The bit where he's in the toilets at the train station after those kunts have pulled the bag off his head and everyone is following and gawping at him.
'I am not an animal! I am not an animal! I am a human being! I am a man!' is still the most heartrending words I've ever heard uttered on film, even though it's such an easy sketch to take the piss out of.
Notebook ?? I'm crying at the fact you actually watched itQuote:
