The Kessler fight and 3.4 million was right there in front of him. 3.4 million! More than he's ever made. But you ignore that. That's why the Manfredo fight is okay with you. Because all you want for Calzaghe is a fight that you'll know he'll win. Fuck taking chances. He's never tooken one in his career, why start now. All you have to do is look at Calzaghe's record and you'll see he's always chosen to fight lesser fighters.Quote:

people are saying jones and hopkins ducked him??? who knew this guy back when jones and hopkins was p4p kings? I mean seriously whales is the only place that talk about joe.c...if he whoop some1 good then he would of got mentioned more and he should of brought his a$s in the u.s to prove how good he is...instead of staying in his little hometown...now his suppose to be soooo good since his undefeated??? hopkins and jones would toy with this guy...he should be thankfull he never fought either of those two kuz if he did :'( poor joe.c fans...
this guy doesn't deserve to be mentioned with the likes of jones jr and bhop...
Come on hopkins and jones have fought some crap opponents. I think your being a hypocrite and if joe does not want to fight in the state's so what ;D Watching hopkins fight is like watching paint drying.... >:mad Rjjr he remind me of bugs bunny cause hes always running......... >:mad it seems to me that they call jones a great fighter after he beat emm... what was his name ??? ??? ??? John Ruiz...... Hardly lennox lewis, whos hopkins fought ??? someone who started off at super feather dl hoya. If joe does not want to fight in the USA its not the end of the world, why is it you think everybody has to fight in america. ;)
If you want to compare hopkins is no hagler, that is for sure.
Rjjr is no michael spinks.
i have just mentioned two better fighter's now better than either jones or hopkins. Joe has got good hand speed, a very good chin, and he is very un ortherdox. 8) He was a very good ametaur winning 3 aba championship's at 3 different weights. You seem to forget he beat a very good fighter to be champion called Chris Eubank. Tougher than rjjr and hopkins put together. :o
Sorry VD mate, but you're talking out of your arse again bro....they were trying to put him in front of Kessler hundreds of miles from where he has fought most of his fight, in front of a crowd who would probably help Kessler to 3 or 4 points on the cards before it starts from the home advantage. Why would a champion put himself and his title at risk like that? Look at the other p4pers and how many of the others have turned their backs on their fanbase to go fight in different countries, apart from Manny Pac, who made the big bucks in the states, and Winky Wright who came the hard way through the ranks, they've all stayed near their fanbases. The americans never left their country to fight, and the Mexicans have stayed in Latin America and the US, so wtf do you expect Calzaghe to leave the UK? See counter's previous accusation of hypocrisy, and add my name to that list, cause you are bro.Quote:

Yes, but Mundine is not in the elite class of SMW's that Kessler and Calzaghe are, and anyone that thinks otherwise is sorely misguided or an Australian ;)Quote:

i personally feel hopkins hasnt fought that much better opp than calzaghe but 3 of them names wipe floor with calzaghe opp to be honest
;D what a load of rubbish yu lot think JT IS GOOD BORING :o :o :o :o :o
Then, no offence, but your'e falling prey to what a lot of boxing fans do...you only recognize the marquee names as talent...if you do that because you don't know the names or thier abilities...then you need to catch up on their fights prior to Hopkins either humiliating them or dropping them.Quote:

Also...anyone (not just you) that saw the Jones jr fight saw that it was a bit more competitive than the commentators & judges made it out to be & also saw a very raw Hopkins that was still not fully into his craft...that's also saying a lot for me being a massive fan of both fighters.
Anyways...Hopkins coming up was a brutal force...more straight forward motion & power punch combos one right after the other.
I liked both of his styles...but he became more effective & IWO tactically slicker & craftier than Joe is today or prime. Truth be told...I think that Joe's style now is a bit closer to Hopkins style then...maybe not his style...maybe more his means of attack or method of pressure.
;D WAKO I SEEN THAT MUCH BOXING OVER THE YEAR,S SOME GOOD :o BAD :o :o AND CRAP :o :o :o. And I no what I like this is bit of fun ;D ;D ;D the end of the day I LIKE PRO AND AM BOXING ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D I AM A BOXING FAN THAT,S IT :) :) :) :) :) :)
