You clearly have a problem with British fighters for some unknown reason. when it was posted how hopkins priced him self out of a career high pay day with Calzaghe IN THE US u defended hopkins, claimed that it wasn't enough even tho it was more than he ever made! When Roy Jones reportedly turned down over $5mill to fight him, again you claimed it wasn't enough, that Roy Jones was totally in the right and Warren/Calzaghe didn't wanna really fight RJJ... If you were of the same opinion to the Americans who have chosen to 'pass' on better fighers, id still think your An a sshole for your comments made, but you'd have respect 'coz you would ad least be str8 as a die and not the hypocrite u clearly are now.

I find it funny that you would compare Calzaghe to Jones. How is that even the same? Jones has names on his resume. He's tooken chances. When has Calzaghe ever had? Joe has got good hand speed, a very good chin, and he is very un ortherdox. 8) He was a very good ametaur winning 3 aba championship's at 3 different weights. You seem to forget he beat a very good fighter to be champion called Chris Eubank. Tougher than rjjr and hopkins put together. :o

to be honest ive never heard of others u mentioned but looked up on vanderpool i dont really see anyone good names he has beaten hopkins beating glen johnson was good win i forgot about him but again i looked up on echols not any real good wins on his record either and lipsey didnt have any good wins either i still think hopkins has beat better opp by beating johnson dela hoya joppy trinidad ect but to be honest mate i dont think his title reign is much better than calzaghes no disrespect to hopkins its just how i feel mate

Hence the reason of what I said about Marquee names. Just because your'e not a marquee name doesn't mean that your'e not a game fighter.

All the men mentioned are or were game fighters...Hopkins just took them out early.

Also...anyone (not just you) that saw the Jones jr fight saw that it was a bit more competitive than the commentators & judges made it out to be & also saw a very raw Hopkins that was still not fully into his craft...that's also saying a lot for me being a massive fan of both fighters.

Anyways...Hopkins coming up was a brutal force...more straight forward motion & power punch combos one right after the other.

I liked both of his styles...but he became more effective & IWO tactically slicker & craftier than Joe is today or prime. Truth be told...I think that Joe's style now is a bit closer to Hopkins style then...maybe not his style...maybe more his means of attack or method of pressure.
