Hey if your serious about it ( though I question his seriousness) go for it but do it right.....I ahd a guy once Dave Morris. He would work his ass off in the Gym as far as cardio and that goes but when it came time for the lessons he would not listen for SHIT!!!!.....He started to believe he knew more than me....( ego thing I guess ??? lets not listen to the guy who works with the world champion he only does this for a living)...So to keep a long story short...He went to another gym where he had the same problem...Dave gets a pro fight and ends up getting hurt in his 3rd fight...BAD!!!!...Now the kid had ( well man he is in his 30's now). And has a speech and nerve problem...WHY cause he thought he knew it all.....
I am all for going out and trying what ever is your dream but this sport is not a joke....In football or basketball you will be put on the bench if you can't perform. Maybe get banged up a little before hand but...This is Boxing baby you get caught with the right shot there is no second chance...I don't like to see it happen to ANYONE!!!!..especially a kid who doesnt know anybetter and no one is telling him different.
