LMAO,I see JC has endeared himself to you guys!! What do you guys think he would have to do to gain more respect? I think beat Kessler and fight JT or B Hop,no one else will do really,will they? He surely knows those are the fights to make in order to silence the critics.
I think he has hopefully been a little misconstrued in this one, and that he is really talking about the big picture. He's introduced to the US public on HBO with a brief destruction of Peter Manfredo Jr in April. He's looking to keep moving in 2007 with another fight three months later, taking on the legend of Bernard Hopkins in July, and then maybe one more fight before battling Jermain Taylor in November/December.
The important thing is that he is still looking to make the massive fight with Taylor, and hopefully FW will see the money is to be made in the huge fights for Joe!
And if his hands are hurt and he needs 6 months to recover and then work on the Taylor fight? Could Kess get to Taylor first? Who means more to Taylor? An unknow guy from England or an unknown guy from Denmark? About the same I would guess...Quote:

Calzaghe needs to be shown more respect i think. unbeaten in gods know how long but done it on this side of the pond.
