The kick was truly amazing... I remember seeing it live on TV, I was watching with some of my friends who were Dublin supporters. As soon as the ball left his foot it looked like it was going wide and my friends started jeering with cockiness... then out of no where, the ball started to swerve back towards the goal and dropped straight over the bar to level the match. I think some of us were in shock! The looks on my friends faces were priceless! ;D
Gaelic football is best described as a combination of rugby and soccer. Very fast paced and physical and played on a much bigger pitch. Can you believe none of the players get paid a cent? It is all played with pride as the main income, hehe. It is refreshing to watch because you know that every one of the players is playing solely for the love of the game. 8)
