personally id say give Wlad a chance to unify and if he does then good, but if he gets stopped again then watch big bro Vitali unify and dominate!
Don't give me that, "he had his chance against Wlad sh**". If that's the case then Wlad had his chance already too (three times by the way). And let's not forget that Peter didn't get knocked out three times in the process so wake and join us in reality.
hey if u saw what i wrote son ud see that i said id prefer to see peter fight than any of the so called belt holders......... also like i said peter did have his chance and he did blow it son. does he deserve a second chance yes of course, but think of how much more of the MAN he'd be if he did KO wlad that night? see my point son?

And a convincing UD over sample peter.
Samuel peter
Got schooled, and shown as a one dimensional fighter against Wlad klits
Then KO’d Julius long in 1 ( lmao 14-7)
Then a SD against James toney (which I still question)
Then a UD against James toney
So where does it make the point that samuel peter cant be pushed aside..His biggest name on his resume was a loss to klitschko…
I mean, Klits Beat the friggen guy (peter) what else does he have to do, to be ahead of him in line to fight maskaev??
You're either a Wlad lover or Peter hater. Then again all Wlad lovers are Peter haters and we all know why. Wlad was terrified of Peter the first time and would have been KTFO if he didn't hold and push, Now that Peter has improved and Wlad knows that, he just wants win the title from Maskaev and then drop it when he's forced to fight Peter as the mandatory. That way he'll say it's just a paper title and he wants to unify. Bull!!! Wlad wants no part of Peter, trust me. That being said, if they fight again I'll make a wager with anyone in here (non monetary). We can do loser has to post a pic in ladies underwear but if Wlad fans are anything like him, that might be your comfort zone. Or loser retires his/her name and starts all over.
ok call me a wlad lover, or peter hater...blah blah blah... but all you did was dance from the question...
what in the hell did peter do, to deserve a shot OVER WLAD....the guy who CONVINCINGLY whooped him....it was 114-111, and thats counting 2 of the 3 knockdowns by rabbit punches, so..ya, you like peter, AND....
Wlad beat em, you cant take that away from him...so what did peter do to get a shot over WLAD, beat james toney? ok, if anything that should leave peter with a fight against the Maskaev vs wladdy winner. IF THAT!

I would hope that doesn't happen but I'd be very surprised if Wlad wants to see Peter standing across the ring again. Maskaev wants Wlad and nobody wants Peter. You do the math.

I see what you're saying but Peter would have won that fight if the ref would have taken control of that fight. Peter doesn't lose any points in my book after that fight considering what he was up against. Wlad = Highly skilled big puncher, Ref= incompetent, Wlad again= holding and pushing away.....and he still almost knocked him out. Henry Akinwande got disqualified for less holding against Lennox and after that everyone said what a coward he was and his career went downhill from there. Wlad does it and he's crowned the greatest thing since chinese restaurants in the hood.
Re: Vitali's Possible Return
i hope vitali does come back, he'll prolly rule the heavyweight division.
imo wlady fair and square handed peter his first lost.
if peter wants to beat wlady, peter is gonna have to take it to wlady like a mad man. wladdy is bad under pressure so peter has to put all out pressure to beat wladdy, and the only way to beat wladdy is to reach his chin.
but even though peter has a massive chin, wladdys sledghammer following a double jab can brake the greatest chin ever so peter is gonna need defense as well as heavy offensive pressure.
i'd love to see wlady peter rematch though, hopefully it comes down to them two to unify the heavyweight. then big fatality vitali shall return to rule, i know the klitchko bros said they wont fight eachother but it'll be great to see. but in case peter wins a trilogy with wlady would be another great fight to see. but imo as long as wladdy throws enough jab his damn near unbeatable.

well it works both ways bud...
If the ref was compitent, then he would deducted peter for the punches behind wlads head, and he would of put a stop to it, and instead of 114-111, it woulda been even more completely one sided than it already was.
seriously man, stop thinking like a fan for 1 second, and think about what actually happend.... please?
Klits got knocked down 2 times with rabbit punches before the 1st legitamate knock down,
Klits was owning him, period. klits was keeping him away with the jab, and following it with his right, that peter wasnt seeing. Cmon bro...seriously.

That's funny you say that cause I just so happened to be a fan of Wlad at the time. I didn't like the way he fought and was very disappointed but didn't give up on him quite yet. Then came the Byrd fight and he was holding feather fisted Byrd too. Right before Byrd was KO'ed, Harold Lederman was actually bringing up the issue and Lampley cut his mic off before he can expose more truth. I'm a real boxing fan and I do like Peter but that doesn't mean I don't want the most deserving HW to be considered champ. Wlad is good but he's not the guy. Maybe Peter or Vitali if he returns in top form.
Re: Vitali's Possible Return
STILL WAITING AND ANSWER.
Re: Vitali's Possible Return
Peter is not the guy either, he'll get schooled by wlad again like the first time. I don't see why people think a second match between peter and wlad would be so different. I don't think peter's skill has improved enough to beat wlad, which is what I think he was lacking in the first fight, and probably will lack for the rest of his career. Power is not always enough.

Has Vitali said this? No.It is just a rumor,I believe started by Greg Leon a boxing columnist that hates the Klitschko's.
Greg Leon is an excellent columnist who has nothing against the Klitschkos. I don't know where you've gotten this from.
If you want me too I could post links to many articles written by him insulting him in every way. Here is just a couple:

I don't see what the problem is with these articles. Greg Leon is a GREAT boxing authority. You just hate on anyone who has anything bad to say about the Klitschko brothers, even if it's true. ::**

He called Wladimir a coward and a hypocrite!
and here is something else he said.
http://www.boxingtalk.com/pages/free3554.htm
Leon's Response: Byrd is the champion. Doesn't he have the right to refuse someone like Vlad who doesn't deserve a shot at the title? Moron, if Wlad was the mandatory do you think Byrd would Vacate his title not to fight him? Am I getting through yet McFly? Wlad didn't deserve an HBO date over Byrd, hello? Anyone home? You've never heard me claim Brock as the next great thing at heavyweight, but you know what Brock's got that Wlad doesn't? HEART. Get it? I hate to play the race card but if Wlad were black he'd be headlining the Ballroom Boxing circuit instead of having a home on Kery Davis must see fighters. Tell your white supremacist buddies at eastside to put that in their pipes and smoke it.
I have written numerous emails to him and have come to the conclusion he is a complete hack who has a real personal problem with the Klitschko's.
Re: Vitali's Possible Return
I will say it again, there is no mention of Vitali deciding to make a comeback on the Klitschko website.Greg Leon was the one who started this rumor in what seems to be an attempt to get a rise out of Sam Peter and make him say some things about the Klitschko's he wouldn't have said otherwise. >:mad

Damn.....you keeping tabs on Leon ain't you? Interesting thing you said about making Peter say things about the Klits that he wouln't have said. Peter is a class guy and even though he mentioned in the beginning about being held by Wlad, he doesn't bring it up anymore and doesn't have anything bad to say about him ever. All he says is that it will be different.
