Paul got sparked in 1 round by Jon Thaxton and in his comeback fight the same thing happend against Holigan. Then he was blown away in two rounds by Geoff Mcreesh. Ross Hale was also blown away by Geoff Mcreesh the same night Dean Francis' shoulder gave out against Undra White . I remember cuz it was the same night Barrera got his WBO title back off Ritchie Wenton .Quote:

I liked Kelly Oliver too but he never really got over that shock rematch loss to John Keaton .
Watson-Eubank II
Danny Williams... the only thing he is consistent at is disappointing you...
Toney - Holyfield? Are you guys nuts?
Toney looked spectacular that night!! Holyfield werent as shot then as he was now..
And what are you talking about an out of shape toney? Damnn bro.. Toney was in great shape back then..If he was in the same shape now as he was then he would have slapped the accent out of sam peter's mouth and certainly would be at least wbc if not wba heavyweight champion...
I mean.. Its evident that toney could play with rahman..If he didnt come into the fight as such a fatass and had either the stamina or was in shape and strong like he was in the holyfield fight he would have easyily decisioned rahman.. And if he hadnt been having trouble with weight he wouldnt have had to fuck with whatever he did fuck with before the ruiz fight..
I think no matter if holyfield was shot it was a great performance from toney and something special that he managed to stop holyfield..
Seeing Tyson lose to Lewis hurt big time! I'm guessing most of us Tyson fans wanted to believe that he had one last bit of magic left, sparks from the old Tyson but alas,it was not meant to be.
Tito losing to B Hop,I like Nard but I REALLY wanted Tito to bust his ass big time. Same with Wright,I thought Tito would blow his arms off!
Arguello losing to Pryor. The second one I could see coming. I'm always sour over the first one though,I will continue to maintain that Proye would not have won that fight in that manner had he not srank that substance. Arguello was beating the SHAT out of him for a few rounds until he drank that substance.
The latest was seeing Morales get KTFO by Pacquioa,I think the second fight hurt more than the third. I think I was upset that whooooooooooooooooole day,I know that sounds sad but seeing someone you thought was practically impervious to pain get KTFO hurt! And in the third fight, that little wink to the corner as in I'm not getting up,its all cool, that was the end of a legend.
One of the many, most have been listed already, was Paul Ingle been stretchered out of the ring with blood clot on brain after getting knocked down by Mbueleo Botile then seeing him after the surgery nearly had me in tears, that guy has a warriors heart. :(
horrible thatQuote:

Hes a great guy.
Any great fighter in the last fights of their career, getting beaten by some no mark as if they were journeymen i.e. Ali, Joe Louis, SRR, Tyson, Sweet Pea, Benn etc
Honourable Mention to Smoking Joe for the Thriller in Manila, there was the classic fight with no loosers. For someone to go through that much, to give what he gave and to loose in the way he did is heartbreaking. Fights like this are what make boxing great, don't begrudge them a penny of what they earn.
Leavander Johnson passing away for me. I've been a dedicated fan over the last 2/3 years and not missed many fights, I was watching that one and you just knew something was up, I hated the match-up and I actually said on the rickyhitmanhatton.com forum, Johnson is way too old for this, and I was sadly correct. the last 3 rounds of that fight made me want to throw up, I don't know what the ref and his corner were thinking. RIP Leavander Johnson.
for me was after 2.5 rounds of kicking the crap outta Iran Barkley , Tommy Hearns getting koed
was so hard to take as Hearns is my all time favorite fighter :(
