I have to disagree with this.
I pick Cotto to win, but I don't think it's delusional at all to see Zab giving Cotto some major problems.
Cotto has had serious problems with fighters in the past who had a lot less hand speed and movement than Zab Judah (Torres for example). Despite all the mistakes Zab has made in the past, I'd ask anyone to list the fighters at 140 or 147 who have better skills and hand speed than Judah. Mayweather may be the only name on that list.
I think there's a backlash on the part of a lot of fans in regards to Judah. He was overrated coming up as a young fighter, so now fans bash him, to the point where now he is underrated in a sense.
Judah will give Cotto a lot more things to worry about than Margarito would have.

But I don't think people are arguing that Zab is going to definitely beat Cotto (at least I'm not).
Cotto will be a strong favorite heading into the fight and he should be. I think where Cotto supporters are making a mistake is in making an argument that Judah has no business in this fight and that he's an easy victory. That could not be further from the truth. Judah is a much more dangerous opponent than a garbage fighter like Margarito.
The Baldomir loss was horrible, no one can dispute that. Judah was arrogant, unfocused, he showed Baldomir no respect.... horrible performance all around.
But other than that, Judah has lost to Kostya Tszyu (a future HOFer), Cory Spinks (a world champ who Judah dominated and KOd in the rematch) and Mayweather (the best fighter in the world and a future HOFer).
As I said before, Cotto has been hurt by fighters with a lot less hand speed and less power than Judah has.

There's a huge flaw in using the first Castillo fight as the big example of how to beat Mayweather. That line of reasoning assumes that the 2002 version of Mayweather is the same as the 2007 version. And that's not true.
His defense is better, his straight right hand is much better. His ability to work off the ropes is better.
The things that Castillo did to give Mayweather problems don't work as well now as they used to.
If you'd asked me on that night in 2002 if Floyd could move up and win titles at 147, I probably would have said no.
Yet he has moved up successfully and won titles, and it's because he's made a lot of improvements and is a much better fighter now than he was then.
