Re: Carl Froch v Sergey Tatevosyan DRBR
SEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I told you what Carl was capable off!!!!!!!!! He smashed the shit out of him, he looked so dominate and strong but i thought carl froch was overrated ?????????????? seems he showed tonight he clearly wasnt and i really do think he will get a shot at a 168 title. After ko performances like that he truely deserves one.

Froch is simply World Class and i've known it for a few years now.
never EVER seen anyone (p4p) hit as hard from ringside as him and i've seen plenty.
Devastating power and as i've been saying for ages...
World champion within 18 months,i have no doubt about that.

Yes, but that is all they are....vultures. Seriously, if you were given odds on a fight between Joe Calzaghe and a fairly large carrion bird which one would you put your money on. I reckon Joe tries to fight from distance, and staying away from the claws and beak, then pounds it to the body for 12 rounds. I'm not convinced that the vulture would have the speed to get to JC, and I can't see beyond a points victory, although I imagine that a bird isn't likely to know how to back off.

Re: Carl Froch v Sergey Tatevosyan DRBR
i still ait sold on froch; he did well yes - but he is a top 10 SMw fighting a guy who spent most of his carrer at MW and is something like 70-90 current SMW? bute made hard work of him, fair enough but bute has beaten none of the elites at SMW, i really fail to see who this propels froch into the elites at SMw - when he talks about calzaghe or kessler should be wanting to fight him, fuck no he offers nothing! IMO before he warrents a shot at calzaghe or kessler he needs to beat someone they have in simuler or better fasion, or another top 10 SMW.
Lacy i doubt will happen yet coz he is out, but froch should be gunning for mundane, tsypko, bute maybe buyer, someone who is a name, who has EXP - i wont compare him with kessler yet untill i see his fight tonight, but calzaghe would play hell with froch. His hand is to low, he has decent speed but clazaghe would be in and out so fast he would feel the shots untill calzaghe was standing back smiling at him. as a south paw and him carrying that left so low he would get batterd. Joe is getting on and his power is half of what it was, but he still has the speed and footwork to confuse the hell out of froch ad he will, personally i hope froch doesn't get a shot at him anytime soon coz it would be a bullshit fight, and whens its done calzaghe would gain little form it.
Re: Carl Froch v Sergey Tatevosyan DRBR
C'mon Preme, we all have our bias - i'm a Froch fan as you probably guessed. And reading that, it's obvious your a Joey (Joe Calzaghe fan ;D )
I dont buy that a fight between Froch & Calzaghe would be bulshit, no way mate !
Froch has battered a heap of soutpaws, Magee & Tatevosyan both were southy's put to bed early with no coco.
Froch has passed absolutely every test put in front of him, like him or not, he has completely cleaned up the UK domestic scene - it's not even close, Froch is 1st 2nd & 3rd on that front.
Wheras Joe has publicly stated that 'Kessler is a nobody, a complete unknown, hence the Tv companies wouldnt be interested' - but then begins negotiations for Alejandro Berrio !!
Also you say Bute is a nobody, but as i see it he is a very good boxer indeed. As is Mikkel Kessler.
The sternest test Joe has had is Jeff Lacy - whom was found out immeadiately against Tsypko (whom also won in my eyes) - a guy who was beaten by Magee (although robbed) - did i mention Magee KO'd Lacy as an amateur? ?
Did i mention that Joe pulled out of magee with a week to go for fight night - because the WBO didnt recognise him LOL - the WBO is a joke as we all know. Froch offered to fly out to magee to take Joe's place - but Magee declined.
It was only when magee slipped down the pecking order to Robin Reid than he undertook Froch's offer and was blitzed.
Speaking of Reid - he called out Froch..then decided against it !
See a pattern forming? Joe declining fights ? and Froch offering them ?
Froch would never shirk an offer ever, he'd never manouvre out of the way, he'd meet them head on as he has shown multiple times.
Carl won a fierce amateur show in Copenhagen many moons ago (when he himself was a middleweight) - and loved the place. He has no problems going there again for a Kessler showdown.
For that reason & attitude he's starting to win people over - wheras the same people are desserting Joe for the opposite reason unfortunately.
Calzaghe is world class - but his decisions have been distinctly amateur of lately... Manfredo anyone? thought not.
