Re: assumeing lacy has learned from his fight with joe...
Come on guys dont start that Lacy thing again. Please open your eyes and dont try to find excuses for him all the time even you like the guy.
There has been so many signs that Lacy was not much of a world-beater, but it is as most people just closed their eyes as they hoped for a new US king in smw.
When you struggle against Omar, Thompson and other on that level then you simply are not a top dog. Remember what Beyer did to Omar a few months after Omar almost beat Lacy. That is a perspective....
Lacy does not have more power than Kessler as he is not very precise and he is not big and strong enough to bully Kessler around on the inside. Most important he lags the speed to dance with Kessler.
I would indeed like a fight between Lacy and Kessler in the US, but I dont think it would be a wise move for Lacy.

when u beat robin reid in 8 rounds knocking him down multiple times then that is a perspective...

In all honesty, i don't think Kessler will struggle boxing anyone who refuses to offer any head movement.

If an old Reid was his best win then it is a sad career and Lacy even needed another helpful ref to start the breakdown of Reid. Lacy's best win is Tsypko....at least the best paper win....

What do you consider Kesslers best win Elephant Bear?
Re: assumeing lacy has learned from his fight with joe...
up untill last wekk i honestly thought lacy would spark kessler out if they met! but i was very very impressed with what kessler done with andrade - Right now i would pick kessler to hit and move and keep lacy at bay BUT andrade wasn't really and up close boxer like lacy can be. I said it before, someone like lacy needs to be with a trainer like Roach, if he was with him then i think raoch would be able to iron out the flaws in jeff to alow him to get up close to kessler and really screw him up. I don't think kessler could handle a fighter like lacy who got in between his jab and started getting bombs off up close, he would confuse him and i think stop him. But right now iw ould have to pick kessler
Re: assumeing lacy has learned from his fight with joe...
Well I have seen most of Kesslers fights over the years. His hardest fight is against Andrade. And Kessler is stunned in the 11 round where Andrade catches him. He looks really shaken for a few seconds, but Andrade was way to tired to really follow up on the opportunity and in the end Kessler bangs away yet again.
The knockouts Kessler have are always combinations and he do have power in both hands, I have never seen anyone take that kind of beating as Andrade did. I hope he learns the noble of art of defense.
Lacy vs Kessler well I would like to see that ;D

Alright man, you take credit for Lacy and say he isnt anything and is no fighter and take merit from all his victories. Well Lacy was Calzaghe's biggest win! So I guess that makes Calzaghe just a nudge above Lacy who you consider not much of a fighter so then I guess Kessler just wants easy money to fight Calzaghe and if he won it isn't much cause he fougth Calzaghe because his biggest win was against Jeff Lacy who's an overrated bum right ??? ::**

-it starts to sound like when posters try to pump up Toney: IF Toney was in shape, IF Toney just hit harder, IF Toney was not fat and blah blah blah. Different from Toney Lacy is at least a great person, but Lacy was not and will never be a top dog.

Hard to say when we dont no where Andrede will go from now.
Going to Oz and beat Mundine in his very first defence was a good win.
