I find it quite humerous that people take shots at Jones last selection as opponent, when Joe's resume is littered with people like that.... Sakio Bika, Peter Manfredo need I say more ;)
I wasnt knocking him JT, just pointing out that getting away with it against Badi Ajamu and getting away with it against Calzaghe would be entirely different propositions.
Im with the minority that say Lacy stunned Joe, I have no doubt of it infact. Joe imediately dropped his hands and went mental, I thought he was playing a dangerous game at the moment it happened but it turned out alright in the end ;D
I know exactly when you mean. But you call that stunned? I would say that was more "caught with a good 'un" without any visible effects apart from Calzaghe going 100% into attack mode.
To me stunned = Roy momentarily looking for his bed and wondering why he cant move his legs in the 11th round of the 3rd Tarver fight.

relax just a joke I certainly would get my ass kicked and fast, joe is very rough around the edges jones has a real good shot at beating him.. he wont however beat jermain taylor at this stage

I would give Jones better shot at Taylor to be honest he hasn't got workrate Calzaghe has and Taylor would be moving up to face Jones.
Re: Why Jones could still beat Calzaghe
You would think so, I think royd have a shot to but.. less of shot taylor is a much better fighter fighter than clzaghe thats why roy is picking clazaghe , taylor has long jab which is going to be difficult to get past, taylor would ko him most likley as he is smaller but a better fighter than tarver by far

When Joe played the Lacy fight out in his mind he would have thought about what happens when Lacy lands a good one. Im confident that his plan WOULDNT have been to go ballistic and fight fire with fire, particularly if it happened to be very early in the contest. It didnt have any noticable visable affects like Tarvers clout did on Jones, but it did IMO make Joe do something that he didnt plan on doing. It didnt make his legs misbehave, but it did his head.
Thats how I saw it anyway ;)
