I love Haye's intro, with Tim Westwood bigging him up and about three clips from rap songs. He's looking pretty chilled, and gets a fair cheer, but also a few boos coming from the crowd.

The announcer made it sound as though Bonin is from Walsall in Poland...though I'm confident it's Warsaw in Poland. ;)

I agree he does look better, doesn't look as though he's stripped so much weight off. Beautiful stareout as the ref reads the rules, ad Haye looks mean.
Round 1:
Fine jab lands well from Haye. Hook from Bonin coming back. Haye jabs and lands a left hook to the body. Bonnin jabs out, but a right puts Bonin on his arse, but he's right back up. Punches from Haye, and Bonin bundled to the floor, and he looks rattled. No count. Big right and Bonin's on his knees again. HAye is landing with huge hooks and an uppercut, Bonin is scurrying backwards desperate to hang on, but a huge overhand left puts Bonin down for the fourth time and Haye's finished him. Ref waves it off!!!!

Re: David Haye v Tomasz Bonin DRBR 10pm UK time Friday

Re: David Haye v Tomasz Bonin DRBR 10pm UK time Friday
Apparently this David Haye guy wanted to make a statement tonight. I think he did. In the replays you can tell that Bonin didn't have much of a guard.
1:45 of the first round is the time. He's grinning and has every right to be. And now the Hayemaker ring girls are in there with him. Living it up!
Re: David Haye v Tomasz Bonin DRBR 10pm UK time Friday
Seriously now 8)
If he's sparking the number 11th ranked Heavy LIKE THAT in his 1st fight at the weight then we may have a future World champ in the making.
F*cking BOY and well done fella and I'll bell you in the morning

Wicked show from the Londoner ;) ;)

Re: David Haye v Tomasz Bonin DRBR 10pm UK time Friday
Haye says: "I was expecting a very long fight, I had trained for 12 hard rounds. I felt that I had double the power at heavyweight.
"Even 70% for me will be good enough to beat Jean Marc Mormeck and I really want to take the unified cruiserweight title there. I'd be mad not to make that fight."
Frank Maloney said: "That spiky haired gentleman from the states called me earlier looking to organise the Mormeck fight but I told him to wait until after the fight, because a performance like this will make Haye worth a few noughts more. Get your chequebook out Don!"
