I doubt that valero ko's jaca within 5, jaca gave jmm a swell face. I think jaca is a good boxer that took it to jmm, I can see jaca beating valero ud or even tko. by the way jmm would tko valero within 5.
Don't think so. Valero is a stamina nut and other boxers will tell you that he is like a human machine who never gets tire. One of his best friends is Ponce De Leon, another stamina freak. Valero is much more than a ko fighter.
what does being a stamina freak do when a guy like jmm could outbox and counter the hell out of you and then have you sleeping by the 5th ??? Ponce De Leon is his best friend? is that suppose make him a better fighter? I just hope valero steps up his level of oppenent, ponce so far has because atleast he got a good fight with penelosa but he didn't seem such a stamina freak there with an old guy to fight.

Just came accross this on YouTube.
It's only a highlight video but I'm sure the rest of the fight will be put up in couple of hours. :) Enjoy! this for now 8)

So they stopped it on cuts...
Well it looked like Honmo was about to go down anyway... Soooo....
Also this clearly showed (for those are interested in a Pac vs. Valero fight) how overwhelmed Valero would be by Pacs speed. Valero in the begining looked almost lathergic to me I saw him at one point with his hands to his side as he came forward to Honmo now it could be that Honmo had 5 kos only but still not good habits to be picking up as you move up the latter.....
Looks like it was a good scrap, credit to Honmo for trading with Valero when he saw that they were thinking about stopping the fight.
Also note to Valero, if you have long hair chances are the hairs gonna get in your face throughout the fight. Heres a hint brade it or put it in a ponytail like you've done before. Moving hair out of your face during a world title fight only adds distraction. ;)

my first glimpse of valero. not impressed. heavy hands, but anyone at 130 will beat him.
they should let him fight h. soto so he can have a title also.

I wouldn't say anyone at 130 beats him. I think hes good enough to beat some prominent names there. I think fighting Rocky Juarez would be a step up for him and I gotta feeling we might get to see that one sometime end of this year or early 2008.
Thats if Rocky wins his next fight against Litzau conquerer Jose Hernandez.
I think Valero also has the goods to beat Alex Arthur.

I'd say Fighting Valero would be a step up for Rocky Juarez. What's not to like with a guy who can both box and pop. 22 ko's out of 22 fights is decent even against stiffs and I'm not sure these guys are stiffs. He reminds me of Fighting Harada, arguably the greatest Japanese fighter of all time, even if he is not Japanese. Clearly, he has studied films. Also, he is in fantastic shape. Boxers I have talked to and who have trained with him in LA say he is like a machine and never gets tired.

Ted I wanna understand what you said here but it doesn't add up. Juarez just fought MAB how would fighting Valero be a step up for him?

Because Valero is a much better fighter than Rocky. I could care less who Rocky fights. He doesn't have what Valero has and fighting Valero at theis point in time is a step up in skills for him. If you are referring to a ranking level, poinmt taken. However, I never look at that. The only thing I ever look at is the relative difference in skills between the two fighters at the point in time that they are squaring off. And off of Rocky's last fight in which he was sluggish, unprepared, and inept, I'd conclude that fighting Valero is a step up for him. All IMO, of course.

Not an immpsessive showing by Valero imo. His hands were too low most of the time and his punches re far too wide. Someone like JMM would dominate him imo. Pac would probably bust him up too. I do like his mentality though.

PAC, yes. JMM, not necessarily. Valero is vastly underrated by those who don't know much about him, but he is a very accomplshed all-arounf fighter who can pop. He will fast become a force. I was very impressed with him. Great balance and movement IMO.
