Re: ~BREAKING NEWS~ Theres some type of mistake on the scorecards~
I give both respect but I can't stand when you watch a fight for 12 rounds and the fighters barely have a scratch on'um.yeah Mayweather won easy point wise (and i agree 100% with him winning)but it sucks as a viewer that no one ever got hurt atleast a little bit!
Re: ~BREAKING NEWS~ Theres some type of mistake on the scorecards~
There was already a mistake in the fight being called a split decision....and now this?? >:mad
Why cant this sport show a modicum of maturity at the highest level? Barrera: Juarez does spring to mind....
PBF won that fight and took a close opening stanza by pulling away in the championship rounds. It was a clear victory IMO. I do hope nothing untoward turns up...

floyd is a technical fighter not a slugger. The only technical speed fight i've ever seen with really good punch conviction is ali. Punch conviction is something thats only found in truly great sluggers (that are mostly heavyweights.)

Re: ~BREAKING NEWS~ Theres some type of mistake on the scorecards~
in all reality, whats the sense of fighting if you don't hurt anyone?
Re: ~BREAKING NEWS~ Theres some type of mistake on the scorecards~
I thought Oscar won, but, seriously, no way in hades should they change a decision after the fans have had the decision announced to them. These "scorecard mistakes" are happening much too frequently. It makes people thinking that [i]boxing might be fixed![i] Unless some judge thought PBF was in DLH's corner, and scored by corner, instead of by fighter, than the decision, no matter how badly I thought the judges botched it, should stand.

The sports world: "This is gonna be a great fight"
Intelligent boxing fans: "That was a pretty good fight"
You: "Aw man it was so hyped up and no one died wtf? this fight was a dissapointment"

Re: ~BREAKING NEWS~ Theres some type of mistake on the scorecards~
Yep this accompolishes NOTHING but detacting from a great performance of both men and rubbing poo all over it..... This is horrible night for boxing if it is ruled a NC or desicion is reversed........
Re: ~BREAKING NEWS~ Theres some type of mistake on the scorecards~
In one f the biggest fights of the last 2 decades this is completely unacceptable and another black eye for the sport regardless of the result. Its unacceptable in any fight.
Re: ~BREAKING NEWS~ Theres some type of mistake on the scorecards~
This is why MMA is more rewarding to watch, when do you ever,I mean ever, have any question who won the fight or paid off bullshit just to have rematch money be made?Money has boxing fucked up!

He didn't fight scared when he landed hard right hands on De La Hoya in the middle of the ring. Boxing is a sport not a bloodsport. We should all remember that.
I'm not interested in a blood sport, just more action. They were both equally tentative in the ring. For me, it made for a boring boxing match. Neither deserves to be an all time great with this performance. The all time great were boxers and fighters.
Re: ~BREAKING NEWS~ Theres some type of mistake on the scorecards~
Oscar had multiple rounds with single digit punches landed. He looked desperate and I knew he was going to lose when he had a steady stream of drool running from his mouth.
Re: ~BREAKING NEWS~ Theres some type of mistake on the scorecards~
why is everyone shedding a negative light on this? They're not saying "Floyd won in oscar country so the decision is wrong" something came to their attention and they're double checking to see that everyone's card was filled out the way that that person intended to score the fight.
