Mayweather didn't win easily...... But he easily won. There's a difference that some people aren't seeming to grasp. It was a tough fight for him, he took some good shots and had to work very hard... But it wasn't difficult to determine that he was the winner..
Mayweather won effectively. Oscar does alot of the same things Sugar Ray Leonard did years ago by trying to win the round with one or two punches at the end of the round. But Ray knew how to do it for the whole fight, every round, and keep the rounds more even- so when he would try to win the round that one punch made a difference in the scoring.
Just like Dela Hoya will do with fans like you.Quote:

he was the most defensive challenger I've ever seen, for a suppose p4p king he didn't show shyt but how one hit and out he is and that was pretty much his whole offense at the fight.
no cause i'm not nut hugging anyone here, i had the fight scored as it should have, and nearly the same as the judges did, i still had Mayweather win, just there is no way in gods green earth that he won by 8 or 9 rounds, sorry PBF didn't do that shit, and well i think you got some of Mayweathers milk still on your lip, you might wanna wipe that off ;DQuote:

same thing goes for Mayweather, a lot of his punches were being blocked by DLH, they were either on the gloves or arms, not many landed clean
I had him winning 8-4. But thats too damn close if your supposed to be the p4p king.
And I dont ever want to hear Mayweather uttered in the same breath as Pernell. IMO Pernell did a better job on a prime Oscar while Pernell was past it. From now on whoever thinks Floyd belongs in the same category as sweet pea, SRR, SRL etc. dont know anything, or is just the biggest PBF d-rider.
then make a vid on how many times Oscar swung for Floyd and flurried across the fightand landed maybe one ;) And show how Floyd while evading Oscar's flurries would bust him with a right counter :)Quote:

So who backed up their talk? From what I saw, Mayweather won 8 rounds to 4. And Oscar's Tarver(Roy Jones 1) performance may have fooled some of us, but it only fooled you if you were looking for Oscar to win ;)
Yeah but no one is contesting that.Quote:

Fact of the matter, both fighters missed(oh that is sucha surprise. But oscar missed more, Mayweather landed more. Mayweather won the fight. End of story ;)
All you Oscar fans are sounding like Sal all of a sudden ;)
Floyd clearly won the fight. The judge who scored it for Oscar was paid.
Oscar came to fight. He was in shape, and did his best. Floyd is just better.
I just can't believe that Floyd hurt him to the body. Mayweather, started to put it on him in the later rounds. Even though I'm a Floyd fan, I didn't think it would be like that.
As good as Oscar looked for 1 fight in three years, he should consider another fight right away.
I'll hate to see both fighters retire. That will suck.
