Floyd fans, please do not use compubox numbers to claim your victory against Oscar because if that is the case then you have to accept this.

I am not down with compubox numbers. It can be very misleading at times. But if the fan boys want to go there, then there you have it.
I know what I see and I can tell a punch that lands vs a punch that is blocked, partialy blocked, lands with authority and or is just a love tap.
Oh please ::** This is weak Danny.
Want us to bring up the Sturm punchstats ???
The Whitaker punchstats ???
The Quartey punchstats ???
Floyd won get over it ::**
You're missing the point TOTALLY.Danny dislikes Oscar too, totally. He's merely saying that Floyd fans like mentioning punch stats when it suits them, this has nothing to do with Oscar's other fights.
Well I'm a Mayweather fan and I think he lost the first Castillo fight. it doesn't matter though as he came back and won the rematch. He has beaten everybody he has ever been in the ring with. And I don't see Danny's point in putting up statistics to that fight ??? Whats the point? I thought Castillo won the first fight, Mayweather won the second fight clearly, Mayweather beat Oscar, Hopkins beat Taylor(twice by punchstats) thank you ;)

Compubox numbers can be misleading. I for one have not used them in defending how Floyd won this fight decisively.
You are so lame. The points you are trying to raise are pointless when related to this fight IMO...

Two different situations.
In the Castillo fight, the argument was that many of Castillo's punches were landed when they were clinching. They'd get tied up, and before the ref broke them up, Castillo would tap Floyd 5 or 6 times in the rib with his right hand.
Those punches were legal, and they should have counted, but they counted as "power shots" when they were really just taps on the side, they shouldn't have counted more than a jab.
Re: Floyd fans now hold compubox #rs as real.
Yeah that's about right SP, but still, punch stats should count for nothing. I think instead of showing the punch stats on the whole, they should show basic punch stats on a round by round basis at the end of the fight. That would give you more of a picture as to who won the fight.

Completely agree. I HATE it when they show "Punches thru ROund 7" or something like that, instead of showing just the punches from the last round.
Even worse is when they'll show "Power punches thru Round 8." What, jabs don't count??
Re: Floyd fans now hold compubox #rs as real.
They did show almost every round for this fight the punch stats for every round, and they were almost always for Mayweather.
