Bro you really don't know what shepards pie is??? Well it can consist of a number of thngs some people make different then others. But the way I have had it is you layer pan with ground beef, then put mashed potatoes over that then you can put corn on top that and pees and whatever other vegtable then some people add cheese it then bake it. Man its really tasty bro, I kinda looks like a slop of shite but its really good especially if its seasoned right.
Is that the way it was made for you Miles? I know some people make it different, I'm curious to know.
Yeah Sheperds pie is great stuff. Yeah, I usually make it by boiling half an onion chopped into small pieces for a few minutes then I will add the minced beef and brown it for a few minutes. I will then add 2 beef stock cubes and 400 ml of water and simmer it nicely so the gravy gets a little thickness to it. Meanwhile I will getabout 5 decent sized potatoes and boil them and then mash them. I always mash them with a splash of milk and a nice big spoon of butter. I also add salt and pepper to both the potatoes and meat.
Then I line a dish with the minced beef (leaving the gravy in the pan) and put the potato over the top. I like to leave the top all ragged so that thr potato can go all crispy. After 20 minutes in a pre heated oven you have a golden brown Sheperds pie. Serve onto a plate and then heat the gravy one more time and serve gravy over the top.....and there you have it! An easy to make Sheperds pie!

Funny enough i've never been a massive fan of Steak and Kidney.
At the chipie i get a Chicken and Mushroom , with chips ,savaloy ,mushipeas,curry sauce and onion rings that sorts me right out and it also make's my back end bellow ..... :laugh:
