Yes exactly people always bring up Marquez landed more power shots but he had two massive rounds where he landed ton more power punches but other than that they were pretty even in power punches department.
JMM won....end of.He'd win a rematch too,MAB is not the fighter he once was. He knew he didn't have the potential to bang so he tried to box the master counter puncher and got beaten and nearly stopped.
Like i said if Pac vs Marquez fight can't happen then Barrera vs Marquez 2 would be great 2nd prize i don't think you would be to disappointed Gamo ;)

I'd like either jmm rematch mab or pac , but I don't want to see jmm mab rematch before pacs jmm, because jmm might lose in the rematch with mab and that would cancel out the rematch with pac and may bring pac mab II, which i don't want to see mab have to go through i know his tough but eric was as tough and we saw what happen to him....

The fight was VERY close no doubt imo, no way Marquez won by more then a round I think there are 5 definite rounds for Barrera and lots of close ones which is what made that 7th round point swing so important.
Anyways, Boxrec is about as reliable as a dog is for stock advice. If you remember, they had Mayweather slated to face Cintron for the longest time.

ERRRRRR.....what are are the 4 criteria of scoring? How many marks someone face has? ::** I don't know if you've heard Harold Lederman but emphasis is on clean hard punching and effective agression,both of which JMM did in abundance especially towards the end of the fight. If you're going to make a statement like that,at least back it up ::**
You're right ICB,I wouldnt mind seeing the fight again but I'd muc much rather see the Pac fight made. A second fight with MAB would take even more out of JMM who is clearly on the slide.,leaving easy pickings for the monster Manny. If he can't fight MannymI'd love to see an Mab fiht but also a Soto fight or a Guzman fight would be awesome too. Barrios names has also been mentioned.

There aint S*** worn out about Marquez...he's just standing & figthing more now to please the fans. I wouldn't be so sure that Pac will be able to handle Marquez this go around...but either way...it should be a great fight with plenty of drama.
lets give pac a slack ok.. he has like about 99 things in his mind before that fight and that includes a legal battle between Top Rank and GBP and his candidacy in the philippine election. marquez opens up the way he fought barrera he would hit the sack more than 3 times..

El Gamo - If anyone was on teh verge of getting stopped it was Marquez . His best shots bounced off Barrera but it only took 1 shot from Marco to drop JMM and leave him dazed for 5 minutes

That was a tremendous fight...so far the fight of the year. So i would have no problem seeing MAB/JMM 2. But both fighters also really want a rematch with Pac. At this point i would have no problem with Marco retiring...he has nothing left to prove. But if he decides to fight again...whether it's JMM or Pac...he would be no pushover.
