Look, Frank has called the Palle bluff, and has accepted the offer that Mogens Palle has given him. That offer will have had most of the major bits of the details in there. If this fight falls through it will be because Palle won't accept that the vast mountain of orange jelly babies that Kessler has before every fight does not come out of the total purse, or some dumb s**t like that. However, Beyer and Andrade fights were made, so Palle should send over contracts when he gets out of hospital, and we can finally look forward to a damn interesting fight.

Unlike any of the ones Warrens made
Somebody wants this fight,and Warren made sure to leave himself wiggle room to get out of it

it would almost make me as hapy as seeing calzaghe get KTFO if he went to denmark, won every round, and got robbed, it woudl be some deserved payback, for the 13+ fights he should have lost by now

Palle made the offer, Warren accepted it...now there's a long wait between accepting the offer and Palle sending over contracts to seal the deal? The wiggling seems to be coming from continental europe in my eyes.

Ok so Frank Warren says they'll come fight in Denmark. But thats it, he does not say what the terms are. He probably wants ridiculous money, all the tv rights and so on. Until we all know the exact contract details it seems to me like another Warren Scheme..... So come on SMASHUP tell me the exact details....

Smashup is currently unavailable due to his third stint in rehab....but let me step in. Frank Warren received an offer from Palle to fight in Denmark. Warren did not ask for a certain figure, he accepted a figure put forward by Palle, which would have included many of the details in it. And neither promoter is about to send copies of the contracts they've received to the media, so those details will usually remain private.

Now we wait for Palle to get out of hospital and finalise the details of the contract they will present to Warren.

I think Mogens Palle got the heart problems because Warren accepted the offer ::**

Anyway Palle had financial problems after the Bayer fight and where days from being bankrupt. So I still don´t think he has the money unless somebody is going help him, which happened with the Andrade fight.

I am confident that Palle made an bullshit offer because we wanted a bigger purse to Kessler and himself from Warren. Now Warren and Calzaghe have accepted Palle and Kessler have to accept the original offer from Warren or find the money to make the fight.

I think they will fight in UK on Warrens term otherwise they will look likesh:t :-X

Palle got outsmarted by Warren, simple as that.

Which fights are they then? The Reid fight was the only close fight he has had that i can remember.That was a close 1 but not a robbery.

Calzaghe has never had a gift decision - never needed one - only one that anybody could even try to justify is Reid, and no way JC lost that fight.

Well I looks that I am right. I think that Palle haven´t sent the contract to Warren because He have to find the money first. Just read that he lost money last year on promoting, and that he has about 0.2 million pounds left in the company, basically he needs to find around 5 million pounds to get the fight made. I think that is the hold up.

It will be in UK or Calzaghe will fight an other opponent ^-^

I read in 1 paper this week that Frank Warren wants the money up front cause he thinks Joe will never get paid.

Well, if what our friend thewhale says above about Palle being close to bankruptcy, that would be a wise move for Warren, though holding it in escrow at an independent party might be the best idea, what with Calzaghe's own problems in having to pull out of fights because of injuries.
