I like it but I would take away Hopkins and throw in Pavlik.Quote:

7. cotto-dlh: it could suprise you on the level this fight could be
8. cotto-hatton: they have the balls and youth to go at it for twelve
9. taylor-hopkins: they would finally give it their all in the finale
10. berto-khan 2010 ;D
i didnt mention cotto-mayweather because cotto isnt quite ready for the p4p king yet he has to develop his defense, but he does cut off the ring nicely and has the workrate to give floyd a challenge in one and a half years or 2..
2009 cotto should take over p4p king

id like to see some strange matchups but intriguing nonethe less
like hatton-pac at 140-----can manny put on enough lbs? it would be a short exciting thriller like a lower weight class hagler hearns---
gatti-hatton--i know gatti is off the radar a bit i terms of big fights but this matchup at 147 would be a thriller as well
floyd-winky at 160? i think this fight is the only one where floyd is in trouble--i think he outboxes shane easily--
hopkins-ibragamov----i give nard a shot at this one---sultan doesnt crack hard and ray austin nearly beat him for crissakes
rafeal marquez v pac at 130? another explsive short fight---too huge a step up for raffy?
tarver-johnson III----not much discussiopn but glen is back in the mix and the first two were very close pretty entertaining battles---
Floyd vs Oscar 2 is not good for boxing i can tell you that.Quote:

I don't think it's one that NEEDS to be made.
Heres 1 fight per division that I feel needs to be made.
Wladdy vs. Peter II
JMMormeck vs. Bell III
BCD vs. Tarver
Kessler vs. Joe C.
Wright vs. JT II
Spinks vs. PBF (@ 154)
Cotto vs. SSM
D-Hop vs. Witter
Juan Diaz vs. Kats
Pac vs. JMM
Salido vs. John
PDL vs. Caballero II
Hasegawa vs. Gonzalez
Mijares vs. Munoz
Vic vs. POngsaklek :puke:
Solis vs. Cazares
Kyowa vs. Rachman
floyd-dlh is still the biggest fight in boxing and the more exposure the fight gets from non-boxing fans the better for boxing!!!Quote:

Theres 2 (ok maybe 3) fights that have to happen in the heavyweight division.
Vitali-Valuev. If this doesn't sell ppvs, i dunno what will. This will also introduce vitali into the mainstream because valuev gets mad coverage on sportscenter. When he first beat ruiz they gave a fighter comparison to ivan drago.
and 2 which is probably more important
Vitali-Peter. Fuck wlad. Having him as the undisputed champ of this era will be scoffed at for years to come when a fighter like vitali is still around. You wanna praise china chin as the best fighter the sport has ever seen more power to you, but i will require a thorough and believeable excuse on why the "best" fighter of this era lost to a bum like ross purity. Having the ring belt in the hands of vitali is the best thing that could happen to this era cause lennox isn't coming back and there's nobody worth a damn up and coming (3 years from now it might be a different story but if you're gonna crown a champ, give it to vitali)
Vitali-Byrd II. This fight would clean Vitali's quitting against byrd in the first bout (because everyone knows thats the only way byrd was winning that fight) plus it'd be another one sided domination of byrd and who doesn't wanna see that?.
Seriously, if vitali is healthy enough to go on a run, let him dominate the division and not wlad. It would do the sport wonders in the long run. Who would you rather have? A guy whose only legitimate loss was to an ATG and future hall of famer (which he may have beaten if a cut didn't show up) or a guy who lost to ross purity?
I fully understand that, but a loss by any one of them totally ruins your viewing list for the next 2 to 3 years.Quote:
