didn't believe it from day 1....Joe C is going down as a coward......not a true champ....I'll believe they are fighting when they are in the same ring together....with gloves on.....
Last time i checked it was team Kessler/his team who claimed they never had an offer, then they wern't ready in time for a fight with an injury no one knew about untill like 2 weeks after they had tured down an offer and people questioned it, then they go and turn down $3m for the fight, then they make an offer to which warren accepts yet they try and piss people about with the dates... yeah that screams calzaghe the coward don't it?
1. Palle offers Warren 5 mill to fight in Copenhagen.
2. Warren says yes, but wants more.
3. Palle gives him everything he wants (5.5 mill net).
4. Warren finds out that he prefers the fight in Wales after all.
5. Palle talks to Kessler, and he says "no problem as long as the money is right".
6. The magic thing happens and they agree on a contract.
7. Everyone is happy and Palle goes on holiday because the contract is finished and all that is left is for Warren to negociate with the HBO about time and money.
8. Apparently the negotiations between Warren and the HBO are challenging.
In todays news Palle is interviewed from his retreat and he comments:
"We have nothing more to do with this. Everything is done, now all that is left is for Warren to get an agreement with HBO. I do not know Warren's economic demands from HBO but without an agreement between them the fight can not happen.
I love this quote. It's a mostly wonderful work of fiction.

stop mkaing things up silly boy!
It was kessler who wnated more money for the denmark fight, he said it with his own mouth.
It wa spalle who kept pushing the date back,
warrenw anting more money? they needed a date first before the could ask for money.
Yeah it's impossible for it to be Warren's fault. Never. The man would never ask for more money. His main interests are what's best for boxing. Not himself.
Sad part is I wouldn't be surprise if you actually believed that
Re: Is Kessler vs Calzaghe going to happen??
On the same hand why is it impossible for pale to be at fault??? I mean fock they're both promoters, which in my book equals shaddy ass people...so if this fight don't come off I'll blame the both of em, and saddly this fights been talked about for fuckin ever now so I'll be surprised if anything does happen to come out of all these talks!

Look VD, as much as you hate Frank Warren, he is just a promoter, the same as many other promoters, so when a deal falls down between him and another promoter, it is not ALWAYS going to be him, which you are constantly suggesting. Other promoters are just as ruthless and greedy as him, he's not the sole cause of misery to boxing fans, so would you admit that it is possible it was not his fault this time?
The basic problem is that there are a group of Calzaghe haters who will always blame Calzaghe or Warren for not getting the fights made, and there are one or two fans who will say the party line of Frank's people, and the truth is probably somewhere in the middle of those two points.
