Undisputed champion would mean holding more than one belt at Welterweight right? Me thinks he doesn't.
Re: Hatton v Mayweather - signed in the next 48 hours?
i think this fight has been tainted due to the fact ricky had such a close call with collazo, even though he won many people said he lost and was lucky.
i still think it will be a huge fight with a huge portion of the world behind ricky to win it because floyds such a royal arse.
Re: Hatton v Mayweather - signed in the next 48 hours?
will believe this when I see it but hope to hell it comes off - would have to go
Not sure why but I really believe Hatton could win this one

i think so too, i dont think floyd is all hes cracked up to be in all honesty, a prime de la hoya would have beaten him black and blue. ;)
Re: Hatton v Mayweather - signed in the next 48 hours?
Calzaghe - Kessler 3rd november
Hatton - Mayweather 10th november
Could be a very expensive week if us brits are wanting to go to them both.
Re: Hatton v Mayweather - signed in the next 48 hours?
I just think Hatton wants it more!

Please Please please let this come off. Just out of interest how would you guy rate Hatton (p4p wise) if he somehow managed to pull off a win? Surely he would have to move up to top 5?

He would be number 1. He's never ducked anyone, lets hope mayweather doesnt bottle it and signs the contract.

You'd think he would but when Hatton beat tszyu has p4p top 3 in all press and hatton didn't take his spot in any list.

Thats a tough one to call. If Manny beats Barrera and Floyd loses, how can Manny not be #1?
Re: Hatton v Mayweather - signed in the next 48 hours?
Looks like Hatton is more likely to face Gavin Rees according to Warren. Wonderful.

You think, but you don't know because just by what you said, you've proven you know next to nothing about boxing. The Oscar who had almost no defense, through just precise punches would do better why? Because he was a little faster? I have news for you... PBF is fighting at way higher weight in comparison to his natural weight and he still beat Oscar by 1 and 1/2 as many rounds or more. He made Oscar miss almost everything. And Oscar is a lot faster than Hatton. Also Hatton was outboxed by Collazo who is much slower than Mayweather, and Collazo lost that fight because of the slip knockdown in the first round

Oscar is not as fast as Hatton. In fact this is why Hatton has more of a chance. He is quicker and is able to pressure for 3 minutes a round. Hatton has a chance IMO.
The Collazo fight was an abberation IMO. Hatton was taken close but did still win.
Re: Hatton v Mayweather - signed in the next 48 hours?
hatton will be a good tune up for mayweather
