Re: My god Evander is still fighting
I feel like a lot of people here but you have to think how are you gonna tell a guy who's been wining and now getting a title shot. He earned it sorta.....they should be tellin that to that guy who fought on espn a little while back who was 6-20-2 to quit before holyfield...now that to me was riddiculous.

Even if he were to drop as low as being ranked 100th in the world - so what? Does that mean every fighter ranked 101 and down should have their licence revoked? Boxers much worse that Evander is now fight week in and week out and no one has a problem with it. I mean ok his skills have declined and yes it is a shame that hes not the fighter he used to be but thats life, the fact that at his age Holyfield is still considered good enough to compete at the top level is anachievement in itself. Hes not being forced to fight on and its not like he has money troubles that are keeping him in the ring - hes a happy man doing what he loves and as long as he passes his medicals and keeps performing at the level he has shown recently what right does anyone else have to stop him.
Ali is a prime example of when to quit boxing.Evander still has all of his senses and doesn't need the money! He should think of his family first at this point, he has thought of himself long enough.
