To be honest i couldn't care who won but it's definately a fight that should be made :)
He needs to fight MAB and beat him first then JMM and beat him and then Juan Guzman. then he can fight Katsidis by then he would have got a lot more experience and even more of a name. I just cant see Katsidis adding to mannys legacy at this momment he needs more names on his record. Earl isnt good enough to be honest.
The way things are sounding Mannys understimating MAB and this could be a very bad thing for him.
if manny is underestimating MAB why is he training right now? why does he have 3 jr welterweights as sparring partners?

Great question & I agree. Granted, Manny has much more high level experience but @ 135, would Manny's power hurt a tough LW? Also, how would Manny take shots from a guy @ 135? - it wasn't that long ago when Manny was @ 122.

This is what i was thinking, Manny will be taking shots from a guy who hits like a Welterweight!
Talent wise Manny has it all over the K man but i wonder how he will take a clean K man shot at 135lb?

If Morales did well over Diaz @ 135 (he knocked Diaz), how much more Pacquaio? I think he will do well also in the lightweight.
If manny decides to go up, the lightweight division will surely be shaken. the boxing world will be in for the happy times. ;D I'm already excited just thinking about it.

Pac was 144 the night he fought EM for the 3rd time. He pretty much carried his speed and power along with him @ 144.
But can he take a solid punch straight to his chin from a 135 pounder?... I don't know.

Morales did well against Diaz? U have to be kidding. Prime Erik would hae schooled Diaz...

You're contradicting yourself. What do you mean "u have to be kidding"? I am not kidding. I believe Morales did well against Diaz. I even believe he won that match. I also bellieve that Morales was robbed of a very important win. Those judges should be banned from boxing forever. O0

U make no sense. A prime Morales would have killed Diaz. At 130, 135, whatever weight. Diaz is not much more than a journeyman, Morales a former top 5 p4p fighter. The fact the fight was close proves Morales did not do well against him.
Re: Pacman v Katsidis - is it on the horizon and who wins?
whew eagle. you're not really making sense. Please read again my post and the posts that I have replied.I am trying to point out that even Morales who was considered past his prime was able to floor
diaz, how much more Manny who is at his prime now?Gets it? O0

Im sayin that u said Morales did well. He didnt. He got beat by Diaz who is a nobody. I know Pac would do better but saying that Morales did well is wrong.

okAY, that's your opinion. I have a different opinion. I stand by my conviction that Morales did well. Maybe we need to see the fight again. Then let's come back after we have seen it again and see whether our opinion will change. O0

I think Katsidis could knock down/out David Diaz too. I don't know why Manny is in a rush to go to 135 anyway? Why not win a belt or 2 @ 130 first? He never even won a title @ 126, he had that draw with Marquez @ that weight.

A prime Morales would be 122 or 126.

Agreed. Pac got some unfinished business with JMM, has to avenge his brother's loss to Soto, KTFO a couple of overhyped punks like Guzman and Valero, then he would be ready @ 135.
By the time Pac reach his 31st birthday, 135 would be his natural weight.
