What's even more unbelievable is that the Atlanta Falcons already said they have no intentions of signing him.
I think that Atlanta has a little bit too much faith in Joey Harrington, but on the plus side, if Atlanta starts Harrington they won't win more than 2-3 games and line themselves up to take the top QB (Brohm from Louisville, so far) in the 2008 draft class.
Cashing it in is the only thing i could see them looking to accomplish with harrington as well. Brohm is better than quinn and will be in the pros too. QB's are hard to predict success with tho. An arm and winning in div1 football doesn't mean you're pro material as there is almost no parity in college football and the bigger schools will always decimate the smaller ones. Despite that, I still have brohm as the number one qb for next years draft as well.
Re: The NFL Football Thread
Baltimore's loss is kinda shocking but with kyle boller in during the 4th quarter its bound to happen I guess. Anybody see favre's highlights from last week? Made a few amazing plays but their offense isn't where I hoped it would be. GB's defense is amazing tho, much more reliable than it has been the past 5 seasons.
Re: The NFL Football Thread
What the hell is going on with this season? Cleveland beating cincinnati IN A SHOOT-OUT? The texans are 2-0?
Re: The NFL Football Thread
The 49ERS are 2-0.... 8)

Re: The NFL Football Thread
Broncos are 2-0. I don't care how they got there. 2-0 is 2-0.

They might actually win the division this year. I'm hoping GB beats the chargers next week. They're tied with detroit for the top of their division :o.

The norv turner lead chargers aren't exactly where they should be either. Saints are 0-2. That makes last season even that much more questionable.

Yeah, that makes Pittsburgh victory over Cleveland in week one more impressive.

The last second TO that negated Oakland's winning fieldgoal was hilarious. I was loving it!

Couple that with the fact that cincinnati beat baltimore and that division really is looking crazy right now.
Re: The NFL Football Thread
Favre got the all-time win record for a starting quarterback this week. 3 more games and he should have the TD, INT, and attempts record as well. At the end of last year he passed elway for 3rd all time in fumbles but I doubt he'll ever top moon's record of over 200. I'm not as worried about him leaving as I used to be as rodgers looks like he's finally adjusted to the nfl. At any rate, GB is back to late90's-early00's form.
Re: The NFL Football Thread
Kornheiser just said the following on monday night football tonight:
"The Packers, 49ers and Cowboys are 2-0 and OJ is in prison. It's the mid 90's all over again."
Re: The NFL Football Thread
I knew the Vikings would suck blue whale this season. >:mad
"Don't worry," said Pun "they'll do fine."
Green Bay, I curse thee.
Re: The NFL Football Thread
Fucken Pittsburgh just kicked our asses...
>:mad Oh! well it was good while it lasted.
And the fucken Packers can't loose. >:mad SD had then belly up and they let them get away.

Their starting qb is tavaris (not travis) jackson. 8-8 is a wish at this point.

Roethelisberger only completed 13 passes while throwing only 20, that isn't a real QB. San fran still has a good shot at the division mick. I'm just as surprised as any one about GB but as long as it keeps going, I won't question it one bit. They didn't let green bay off the hook, The leagues only 3-time (back-back-back at that) MVP did what he does. I think that moved him to 3rd all time in 4th quarter comeback drives. That record would be reachable if it wasn't for some elway guy...
