When Tyson first came along, his physique made a big impact on the media - I remember all the papers being full about the size of his neck.
Also, the heavyweight era just before him was full of the Witherspoons, Tubbs etc ...... one thing Tyson did, was to change the shape of the heavyweights going forward. Big fat slobs knew they would have to start coming into the ring in some semblance of shape.

Roy Jones without a doubt had the perfect build for a fighter. Not too lean, not too thick like Holyfield or Jeff Lacy, flawlessly built for speed and power.

Me thinks it's a legit thread, seeing as how a boxer can do such a thing as lift weights too heavily, to the point of effecting his boxing ability in a negative way (or not enough - Joe Calzaghe!! even though he's one bad mother $@^@$^@ I think he could go for a slight increase in muscle).Quote:
