I dont think Berto is terribly good. There are half a dozen WW's better than him. A fight with Judah would be another good fight for him to take. I think it would be pretty even up until the 6th. Judah might fade down the stretch going on recent showings though.
Rep for the input i think Berto is still improving still young i think he has a chance against Cotto because he is open for uppercuts and has shaky stamina as far as Mosley goes i am not so sure about that i dont want the fight almost because i am big fan of Shane Mosley and I think that Mosley has a chance to beat Margarito if he fights the right kinda of fight. Margrito is Bertos worse nightmare style wise Berto better learn to stay focused and box or he while get knocked out in his best interest he better hope that Mosley beats Margarito but who knows only time while tell.
My opinion hasn't changed at all Andre Berto whoops Zab Judah, but he still isn't ready for Antonio Margarito quite yet. And Antonio Margarito whoops Zab Judah if they ever fought.Quote:

Berto is elite, he just beat an elite fighter.
Berto just needs to stop squaring up, and stop being caught on the inside between combinations, he either has to stay on the outside, and only be on the inside when he is throwing combinations ala RJJ then get out, or he has to have a defense first mentality, find the the rhythm in his opponents offensive and precede to counter them ala Mayweather, right now he is stuck between both styles and he gets hit a lot in those situations because of it, when he boxes from hte outside he is hard to hit, he lands at will, and he looks unstoppable, when he squares up on the inside with his hands cocked to throw, he looks like Jeff Lacy.
Its not just that he squares up, but he also loads on punches which leaves openings that wouldn't be there if he threw his punches properly. I would be surprised if he does enough double ended speed bag, because how he looks on the inside and how he throws punches on the inside doesn't give me that impression.Quote:

Berto breaks down and punishes Judah... Judah is a small Welter and Berto is a big Welter who exceeds him with speed and power, not to mention Berto stays composed and has that next gear to go with a big heart
A great next fight for berto, i don't have much faith in judah winning but maybe just testing berto again and giving him some new looks and experiece etc...judah like usual will look good for a bit and then find a way to loose,another dec for berto.
I don't think its a bad fight, Berto's not ready for the top level guys but Judah's obviously not a top level guy. Berto's gotta be the favorite but Judah should be able to handle Berto's power and could make it interesting.

I'd say one of those big stepping stones fight where he is in a battle and shows that he's the real deal, then i'd LOVE to see him fight Cotto. If he fails to impress in the stepping stone fight then I'd have a hard time seeing him beat Cotto/Margarito/Clottey etc..
