Well then Hatton better learn how to close the ring down so Floyd can't go anywhere. But my feeling is Mayweather is going to unleash a storm on Hatton like we haven't seen in a while. He's been trash talking Ricky regularly and visciously since Rick beat Kostya; worse than he's ever talked about an opponent. As much of a bum Floyd says Hatton is I would think he's going to beat the brakes off Ricky just cause' he thinks he's a fake. As much as I want Ricky to win, won't happen. Floyd will beat him severely and this fight will be over by 8 rounds, maybe 10 if Floyd wants to torture him. Hatton better get some steel plates put in his head cause' he'll need them. All this coming from a huge Hatton fan, but I see this being so one sided as to almost be criminal. JMO, not trying to hate on Ricky. Hope I'm wrong

Ok good list now count how many losses they had between them and how many were undefeated ?
That is a jokew of an answer, a good bunch of fighters, in their time but not when Floyd fought em eh ;D

Well who else was Floyd supposed to fight??? The only fight I hold against Floyd is against 1/2 dead Gatti for some obscure belt I think he won from Daamgaard??? Gatti though got his ass beat badly and Floyd didn't even break a sweat. Other than that, how are you going to complain about Floyd's opponents??? Don't worry, Mosley, Cotto, Cintron etc. will have their shots at beating Floyd too, with them getting beat also, Shane being the only guy who really has a chance, maybe Cotto.

If any of those fighters had beat floyd, there wouldn't be any claims of them being out of thier prime or any of the other dozens of reasons why floyd wins other than he is just simply the best all around boxer these days.

OK, trinidad has a good resume and winky sh*t theres loads of fighters who have fought genuine contenders at their own weights rather than run from people like Tszyu up to a weight to fight someone Tszyu had just murdered

Mayweather never ducked Tszyu where did you hear that from ?? did you know Tszyu would have got his shot vs Mayweather had he beat Hatton ?? so i don't know where you heard that from.
Trinidad has been retired since 2005 and is only coming out of retirement for the limelight i don't really consider Tito to be a part of this era right now in 2007 i hope you understand what i mean by this comment and as i said name a boxer who has better resume now who is currently fighting not a fighter who has been retired since 2005 and is only coming out of retirement for limelight because Cotto is getting the attention now and he isn't really and truthfully the last time Tito really had big win was back in 2000 against Vargas
And as for Wright his resume is not as good as Mayweather's thats why he is not P4P number 1.
But you see what i mean ?? you slate Mayweather's record but you have to bring up legend like Tito who is not really in this era at the moment to find someone with better record than Mayweather and i don't think there is that much difference between Tito and Mayweather infact if Mayweather beats Hatton he would be rated higher than Tito imo i think your being bit too hard on Mayweather he has fought quality opposition.

Mar, one of my points was that stats can be boring when overused. Another was that stats can be misleading (a point that has been made by many people on this site when attacking the record of Calzaghe). Not my fault that you can't read between the lines.

Stats hold a load more credibility in a debate than some fanboys theories.
Stats suggest PBF has the best resume of current fighters, therefore he is p4p nmber 1.

Do yourself a favor & stop attacking members of this site the minute that you come on.
Apparently this is not your first incarnation as you seem intent on knowing the rules of conduct & immediately breaking them.
Stats & discussions go hand in hand with ICB. You may not agree with it, I may not agree with it, but it doesn't make it wrong. Nobody's accusing you of being a Hatton fan...but you seem to be a fan of arguements more than discussions as all of your recent posts are beligerent in nature.
I hope that you can respect the fact that here on saddo's...that aint really appreciated. Please conduct yourself a bit more gentlemanly.

Wacko, this is not the minute I've come on, I have been visiting this site for over two years. I realise that my first post was a little aggressive, but some of his statements antagonise people, and will garner a response. If we all agreed, then this forum would be dead.
