Jorge Castro vs.John David Jackson-Jackson was putting on a pure clinic and then Castro caught him on the ropes...WOW
Kid Gavilan vs.BoBo Olson-Gavilan cleans out Welts.and moves up to war with Olson.
Marvin Hagler vs.Vito Antufermo-brutal
Omar Sheika vs.Scott Pemberton 1-freakishly savage fight
Julian Jackson vs.Thomas Tate -Great back & forth as Tate takes everything
Iran Barkley vs.Jesus Castenada-Someone forgot to tell Jesus he was an "opponent".Bloodbath
Vincent Pettway vs.James hardrock Green-forget strategy, just bombs away
Quincy Taylor vs.Otis Grant-pretty much all technical until 12th rnd.picture perfect one punch and OUT COLD.
Aaron Davis vs.Simon Brown-2 old warriors.......go to war
Bernard Hopkins vs.John David Jackson-B-Hop assaults and beats down future corner man
Tommy Hearns vs.James "the heat" Kinchen-Hearns gets dropped and is given early christmas gift Decision.
great matches.. i enjoyed the write up 8)
Thanks Taz. Good to see "new" posters.Early CC to ya!
Any Favs at Middle?
thanks.. your list echos my thoughts.. great matches you listed . simon brown -vs vincent pettway was exciting .. many great fights in and around that 160lb range 8)
Brown laying on the canvas jabbing into mid air was Insane.Really Brutal, even more so than Morrison sitting in his corner hooking off the jab after Mercer rendered him KTFO.
Really the beginning of the end for Brown and really sad as well was his similar KO loss to featherfisted David "Popeye" Reid.Ive always enjoyed Brown but all of his wars took an unforgiving toll.
Re: Best Middleweight And SuperMiddleweight Fights Ever
Felix Trinidad-William Joppy. Great middleweight debut by Trinidad
Byron Mitchell-Julio Cesar Green. Mitchell down twice in the first come backs to win
Antwan Echols-Charles Brewer. Amazing comeback by Echols
Bernard Hopkins-Antwan Echols 2. Such deliberate fouls

Good scraps VD.Mitchell vs.Green was insane.Green got hammered like a Nail!
Echols always struck me as "touched" came off kind of nutty.absolute born puncher who could hurt anyone at anytime.Had alot of dirty S!!!! go on in some of his fights but was truly dangerous when hurt.
Re: Best Middleweight And SuperMiddleweight Fights Ever
some great fights mentioned, but calzaghe vs mgartchin (excuse spelling)? i was at that fight and it stunk.routine breaking down of a punchbag.

I guess Benn-McClellan has to be up there too
I didn't really enjoy Hagler vs Leonard.
...it was one of the biggest fights at middleweight ever
Hagler-Duran?

For a fight with two legends, two real rugged warriors, it was a snoozefest!
