Very true! Whatever, people are gonna think what they're gonna think. I understand alot of the disdane. Peter did virtually nothing in this div to even earn close to a title shot. There are guys like Kess who had to wait in like behind the likes of manfredo... I understand why people feel the way they do. Thats why he has to earn it. A good showing against Lacy will put him in the top ten. How well will he do? Only time and Freddy Roach will tell but his style has room for growth. Thats why I like him so much.

What I meant was while Lacy has been out after having a rough time in his comeback fight and then having surgery, Manfredo has had 2 good fights, fights where he unlike Lacy has shown no signs of being shot, hes kept himself busy and sharp while Lacy has searched for an easy name to comeback against again, Manfredo will outhustle Lacy and I can see Lacy retiring, I dont think his hearts in boxing after the Calzaghe fight. He had garry Shaw filling his head with bullshit about how awesome he was and he fed off it, now he has come back down to earth with a thud, I dont think he has it in him to work his way back, or to iron out his faults and as crap as Manfredo might be I think hes durable and enough of a boxer to take advantage of Lacys situation right now
