Use your brain, Mayorga is NOT gonna get his ass back down to 147, if anything he'll go back down to 154 and have a third fight with Vernon Forrest for the WBC Belt. Mayorga is full of shat. I know he said that big deal. He also said that he bet 1 million dollars on himself to KO Vargas b4 the fight, you believe that too? And he said he weighed 156 and then came in at 164, same weight as Vargas. Mayorga is a bullshatter. I didnt side with Vargas, I picked him in a casual kind of way nothing substantial like I was a fan of his. Mayorga won congrats to him. Mayorga has a 0 defense and if Vargas had any snap on his punches he would had him out of there like Tito and DLH did. I understand his right hand is like a mule kick and he makes for good theatre, but he will never be considered a legitimate threat to anyone who is ranked in the top 10 anymore.

Mayorga fought Vargas at a higher weight then both Trinidad and Oscar and he wasnt knocked out. And Vargas was the naturally bigger guy and Mayorga went in there and looked stronger then him.
Give Mayorga credit where credit is due. You say Mayorga has no defense or boxing skill as if he is supposed to. Nobody said he was the second coming of Pernell Whitaker. Mayorga has always been Mayorga and you cant take credit from him by saying "he didnt do this or that" when he has never done it in the first place.
I think what JT means is exactly what you say Majesty..he gave Mayorga credit for beating Vargas but he is saying that Mayorga never was good and is still shit and no threat to anybody in the top 10 in the welterweights.Quote:
