All brass for Next fight taking the rematch though.
I really dont see much he can change and something tells me His ego and urge to "rebound" with tempered aggresion will lead to a brutal ko loss and He'll do no better at 168 Imo.
Spicoli, just to clarify something here when you say "brutal ko loss" you mean more brutal then the 1st time around?
Or
Just brutal ko?
:)
Make sure the Family is out of the room Brutal. After Climbing off the canvas on heart I see a bobble head effect on the ropes and then Splat!Think D.Wison In his last fight w/ E. Nawando(??).
That being said Pavlik needs to upgrade his defense .Having a feirce offense is on e thing but backseating your defense behind it will catch up to you Imo.

One sure way he can contribute to his betterment in the defense dept. is to stop making Gumby faces at JT. That might help things ::**

Yeh,He was border line Master Nate cambell Impressionist there but I think it was good it happenend.Dumd shit has a way of repeating itself only If u let It.
Alot look at offense mostly but Pavlik stands tall and is Buu-koo sold on his power
It will catch up to him but not against Taylor who will do his "Gumby" tied up on the ropes in corner.

Thanks for clearing that one up for me Spicoli. ;D
Re: Will Jermain Taylor Retire If He Loses To Pavlik Again ??
Taylor has got all the tools physically but he hasn't got all the tools mentally he uses up too much nervous energy thats cost him to fade in the later stages of fights. He fought better than i expected in Pavlik fight but all this talk i've heard from him in the past about him retiring makes me think he would retire should get KO again which i believe he will.

Lol. Pav does stand too tall. The only thing that will break him of that probably is a good case of osteoporosis ;D ;D ;D

Actually Pavlik's defense isn't that bad except for when he pulled silly faces when he got knocked down he actually blocked alot of Taylor's punches and was quite impressive in that department.

Aside from the silly faces you were really impressed with Pavliks defense?
I gotta disagree there Pavlik pretty much is your typical offensive fighter who doesn't really concentrate too much on defense as far as waist movement, bobbing & weaving. I agree with Spicoli, Pavlik has lot's to pick up on in the defense dept.

It is a Macho thing with him. He gets stung and either sticks out his tongue or his chin. It is a bad habit that he really needs to get rid of. Hopefully the last fight was his wake up call!hehe

Well for offensive fighter like Pavlik his defense is pretty solid ok his defense isn't in the league of Whitaker, etc. But he still blocked alot of Taylor's punches and for a puncher, offensive fighter like Pavlik his defense is good enough i mean how many offensive fighter's have there been with good defense ?? like i said earlier his defense is good enough for the style of fighting he has got.

He didnt block tha one(s) that put him on QuearStreet!taylor flailed away and threw like a amatuer when Pavlik was very vulnerable.

CC your way. I saw him in lets of earlier fights, he still keeps his hands up which is a bonus, but earlier he seemed to roll his shoulders more to incoming shots. He has abandoned that in his last 3-4 fights.

Well he put his hand's down and made silly face of course he will be knocked down when he does stupid things like that doesn't mean his defense isn't good it means he got too over confident.

Pavlik wasn't the main money guy nor noticed until after he beat Miranda
