A boxer can have a game fighter in front of him despite his record or what people said prior to the fight come fight night that fighter can be imune to pain and or anything his opponent throws at him even if the boxer happens to be 28-1 with 26 KO's.
Williams didn't look great in those matches i agree but his stock sky rocketed because of his impressive win against one of the most feared Welterweights out there.
Totally different to Cintron who struggled in a tune up fight.

You missed my point.
My point was that Williams struggled with 2 guys.
Cintron struggled with Jesse and your saying he will loose because of that performance.
Whos to say Cintron struggles with Jesse but beats Williams?
I'm saying that your making it seem like the struggle Cintron had with Jesse was enough to diminish him and not merit him maybe the benefit of the doubt that he had an off night or something.
All in all, I don't think his stock dropped. His performace could have been better but he still got the TKO win and the W in the end that's what matters.

Thats your opinion but until Cintron has another impressive win his stock has dropped quite alot imo. But maybe im only small number of people who feel that way ?? i don't know but thats my opinion on the situation anyway.
Re: Who's stock went down the most this year?
There aint nobody laced them up who won all his or her matches impressive. it don’t work that way . Comes a time you gonna get the flu, hurt the hand, bad back, ankle , or flat out get shook up from a shot you didnt expect. its times like these, you thankful for the win ! unless a pattern develops, it is a huge mistake to assume the worst of someone on one moderate performance.

Spot on LG...
When a fighter is given the opp. to fight for a title and hes on a good wining roll coming off a very good KO win and as you said proper training, conditioned, chin and the mind set of a warrior that wont give up forget it you might as well grab the stool and hit 'em with that. ;D
Re: Who's stock went down the most this year?
Well i do not think that Cintron has gone any were in his tock he has pretty much stayed at the same level pretty much.
Re: Who's stock went down the most this year?
I'm shocked more people arnt saying Margarito... he was the most feared man in boxing last year, or definatly one of them, and now he is just a welter weight contender... i'm not saying he is any worse of a fighter than he was last year but his stock has plummeted..
Barrera... started the year top 6-7 P4P, now probably not in top 30
Mormeck...
R. Marquez..started on Floyd and Pacs level, now top 7-10 P4P
Casamayor...
Vic D..
Re: Who's stock went down the most this year?
Mick's "homeboy" Pongsaklek Wonjongkam stock went way down by losing to the very underrated Daisuke Naito
