it would take away the memory of the draw which was suppose to be technically a win for pac. It'll clear things up and is the best possible fight to go through. It would most importantly shut up some of the remaining pac critics.

if pac loses? that is possible since jmm is a very great fighter, but pac can go up in weight which his already planning to do and win a title there. If he wins i'm sure you'll consider jmm an old far in decline too. If jmm doesn't beat pac I really can't see anyone else beating him not in lightweight nor featherweight. juan diaz, guzman and casamayor would give him some new looks but pac will eventually conquer them. Jmm is the man at superfeatherweight after pac leaves it or if he beats pac. Pac will win though, jmm is really a great fighter but pac is much greater now.

Glad to see this fight being made. Manny is the favourite but JMM CAN do it. I'll be rooting for Juan Manuel REALLY LOUD 100% but Manny is a monster no doubt and I'm SUPER glad he is taking this fight,it's time for him to fight dangerous fighters again(I don't rate Morales(Shot),Solis(stay busy) and MAB(didn't want to be there) He deserves 100% credit for this fight(I ALWAYS tell it how it is). Whoever wins has SERIOUS claim for P4P number 1 or joint number 1 with Floyd depending how he looks v Hatton.

I expect Pacquiao to take the first few rounds because Marquez remember's what happened last time. so Marquez will very cautious in the first few rounds, then after about 4 rounds Marquez will start to feel relaxed, and then he will use his great countering skills to win a UD i don't think this fight will be as good as there 1st meeting.

from what i've heard, pac just needed time to decide going up in weight or staying to fight jmm. The money was equal, and the credit seem to be as equal also. Beating jmm is a great feat, but the wispers in pacs ears is that people are getting tired of him fighting the same guys over again. He wanted david diaz as an easier first fight then jaun diaz, but ultimately pac wants to fight younger and bigger fighters at lightweight.
Pac is over looking jmm again, just between the two of us bro but its true pac is over looking jmm again! Remember when pac said he wanted morales after he defeated mab, but they gave him jmm first. Pac over looked jmm and believe it or not pac came in underestimating jmm as a tune up. He said jmm was just gonna be a stepping stone towards a mega fight with morales. The first round kept him more convince jmm was a lesser fighter then mab and eric but after that first round it define who jmm was. a classic really, but pac seem to be over looking jmm again. Lets see how jmm will respone can he define himself as the best of the best this whole time. Or pac will shut him down this time around.
Or will it be another draw, both fighters finding their match from one another ;D

THAT is what you call a TRUE warrior. JMM fighting for himself,his legacy and willing to make concessions in order to get the fight he wants. I miss this attitude from today's businessmen/fighters.Had JMM taken the aroogant,I'm not getting enough $$$,I want this,that etc, we would not even be seeing this fight. Thanks to JMM,we are and I seriously seriously want him to win.
I agree Julius,at that time,not many knew who JMM was and so he was overlooked. I don't think Manny will make that same mistake again although,I GUARANTEE,if he fights like he did v MAB in his last fight,he is going to lose.

Guzman is no Mayweather, at 130 floyd was explosive and can pop. Guzman can box and counter but its just a bit above ordinary slick boxing. It isn't elite like level that needs no showboat or avoidence to go the distance. Jmm and floyd at 130 boxes and dominate with obvious elite supremecy. Guzman needs more power to beat jmm or pac.
Sure guzman can give pac some trouble.....until pac starts to scrape him over and over again. guzman can box but he needs more than accuracy to stop pac from raging in on him. Its over and over again really, last year they said guzman or valero will cause problem for pac not just cause of guzmans skills or valeros power but becuase of their natural size. Well guess what guys pac is bigger and stronger, where did those oppinions go? In fact pac is the one moving up to lightweight not guzman or valero well atleast not yet. Guzman has had trouble making weight i believe. I think pac will catch him by the 6th and that chin will be tested and if we know pac we are damn sure by the 6th round pac has already dished out a load of punishment to the body. Unfortunetly for guzman his not faster then pac, nor stronger and most of all he has never been in with a pacman that puts elites through hell.
IN the future hopefully pac will see guzman in the lightweight division, i don't think skills are enough to beat pac. maybe if we can combine valero and guzman power and skill now that i think can beat pac. Unless its jmm who can survive and counter but then again don't know now that pac is no longer that one demensional lefty jmm fought before.
