Totally. I want Kahn to win and fulfill some of the hype around him because British boxing simply cannot have too many world class fighters, but that knockdown against Limond really doesn't bode well for the future of Kahn's chin.
In an ideal world for Kahn, I think if he wins a tough 8 or 9th round KO, having had his chin properly tested by Earl and coming through, that would prove a few doubters wrong. Not all of them, maybe not even half, but at least a few.

As for Khan, I say the referee stops Earl from taking a further beating around 8. Thaxton is the real British challenge. Can't see Warren putting Khan in their with Jonny until he's been badly beaten.
Agreeing with your prediction, but I don't think Thaxton is much more of a challenge than Earl.

Come on lad, although Early has challenged for a world title, Thaxton is the man with the momentum at the moment since claiming that British title, and Earl is a bit of an unknown quantity in how much desire, will, and all those things that stop you going down after a punch that he still has left, after he was really beaten well against Katsidis.

Re: British RBR - Amir Khan v Graham Earl - Saturday - C'wealth Lightweight title
It would be wrong NOT to have a couple of bob on the Earl KO at those prices..
Even if Khan's on the kill there's a chance of him getting chinned.

I think I might put a fiver on an Earl Ko with a quid each on rounds 2-6. The odds are just waaay too tempting not to have a flutter. However, I may also whack a few quid on a Khan points win so I have some sort of objectivity in the RBR.
Actually, for your info....I don't bet at all and would never have a flutter on a fight I'm doing a RBR on. ;)

Earl hasn't challenged for a "world" title. He turned down a fight with Thaxton too.. although understanable, I guess, considering the Khan fight has been there for him for a LONGtime now/...
Re: British RBR - Amir Khan v Graham Earl - Saturday - C'wealth Lightweight titl
I don't bet but i will for certain lay down a bet with those odds for Earl to win.
Re: British RBR - Amir Khan v Graham Earl - Saturday - C'wealth Lightweight title
I said all along that this would have been a PERFECT undercard fight for Floyd-Hatton.
There's going to be a huge British contingent in Vegas, give them a Brit showcase fight on the undercard. It would also give khan an extremely valuable experience of fighting in front of a big Vegas crowd. Oh well.

Warren wouldn't allow it, he can make dosh all on his own by selling Kahn Earl...
Had Hatton still been under Warren he would have still marketed it as two events for the extra money.

Also, Hennessy has capitalised on the Brit contingent being over there and has a card on the Friday in vegas with the likes of John Murray fighting. I think it's UK vs. Mexico.

Thats true and it will get a lot of young fighters the opportunity to taste some international flavour into their ring expierience....(Something I greatly wish Frank Warren would do.)

Aswell as plenty of folks making money out of it, I think if John Murray can really impress this fight it will do wonders for his profile beyond the British shores.
