Undefeated is overrated. Almost all great fighters have lost one time or another in their career. Hatton's a good fighter. I don't see him disappearing anytime soon.
Hatton was'nt hype he went out their and fought like a champion against P4P#1 .
:coolclick: That deserved a cool click. My day started out shitty and this is the first time I've laughed. I didn't see the fight on PPV, I'll be catching it Saturday. Losing to the P4P best doesn't "expose you". If a shot Castillo had kayoed him I would have said so. I rooted for Mayweather, but I don't see the necessity to call Hatton garbage. I don't like his rough house tactics, but that aside, the guy hits hard and he takes a good punch and his work rate (when he eats right) is phenomenal. I'd like to read something from someone who was looking for Hatton to win being a little humble instead of calling Joe Cortez "man of the year". Cortez didn't land the left hook that put Hatton down. Hatton lost.Quote:

It's not just about who's the best, it's also about who can provide the most $$$. If I got punched in the face for a living I'd do the same thing. That's why he fought Oscar. Oscar wasn't on some massive win streak. A year before he fought a club level fighter in Ricardo Mayorga and before that he got his liver handed to him by B-Hop. And all of this was over 2 or 3 years (I don't remember offhand exactly how much time)? On paper, a fight against Oscar didn't make sense. But it made a lot of dough. Floyd's at the point where he isn't concerned with knocking down everybody out there. He wants to take on people with deep pockets.Quote:

Hatton hit floyd more than any other fighter did.
Big NO to that one mate :oQuote:

But he truly needs to end his career fighting some much better opposition if he wants to be taken seriously as one of the very top all time greats.Quote:

Can people quit using the "he moved up" excuse ???
IF Oscar had knocked Floyd out NONE of you would have said "Mayweather moved up in weight was the reason he lost" NO ONE
Thats complete BS, just because hatton lost it doesnt mean hes all of sudden a crap fighter! he was fighting the worlds number 1 ffs!! he was also fighting in a weight class he's not comfortable in!!
He's not the only one ,I agree 100% with his breakdown. I think lots of others on this board agree to ,but wont say it because they fear being ridiculed and attacked.Quote:

So all you guys bitching about the "Floyd haters" need to give Floyd's opponents a little credit....I'm not saying Ricky is a world beater at welterweight but he fought with a lot of heart and he did everything in his power to try and win and was just outclassed by the better guy, doesn't make him a crap fighter ......unless of course you want to consider Floyd a crap fighter, and even I admit he's too good for that.
