Aren't they already sacrificing Lacy to Tarver, or is that not happening now that Lacy's so obviously done? It would be nice if that boring-ass Manfredo fight at least led to a quicker Tarver-Dawson matchup.

Kessler can offer Berrio a decent purse and he will take the fight.
Then Kessler needs to kick his ass so he can get rated by the ABC's and they will force someone to fight him
That's not a very smart move.....what about Bute? There are only so many good fighters at 168 and America has none of them right now.Quote:

I love a teare up, as much as the next guy, but just wanting to watch someone beat someone silly in the ring? your not a boxing fan, your a fan of violence.
Fair enough Rob. Plenty on here you can SC for saying alot worse than I did. But here's a CC for you, at least you told me why you SC'd me, and I respect that.Quote:

I could be arsed to read through it all... Everyone knows I'm like 1 of 2 hardcore Lacy fans left, the other being AMAT. Bottom line, Lacy was obviously ring rusted and a little apprehensive about letting the left fly consistently. If Lacy was to fight Kessler in 6 months he would get his azz beat down... if he had 3 fights where he looked like he was making signigant progress, then I would say it would make for a good fight.
i think kessler will destroy lacy he is in a different league than him
cant see kessler having much trouble with lacy.still think lacy.s heart was broken after calzage fight and after watching his fight in vegas not convinced by him,
Well, Lacy is sure as hell not ready for Kessler. Everyone knows it, including Jeff. He needs to get back to basics and get a few keep busy fights in and get his shit together. If he were to fight even Tarver next without any more tune up or nothin, I'd have to pick Tarver to most likely stop him, or least beat him up pretty bad.
Swaying me a bit there.I think i'll reserve my lacy comments till his next fight.Quote:

I seriously only see one threat to Kessler. And thats Anthony Mundine. And only providing that Mundine fights his best on the night. As far as Bute, Inkin, Berrio, Froch and the rest. They are well behind Kessler. But Mundine is a lot closer. A lot of you haven't seen him fight and thus don't know about him.
But ever since early in his career he has improved ten fold.

And Have a look at this. yes this is against Kessler. And i must say this is Kesslers closest fight after the Calzaghe loss. Mundine has improved since then.

Its okay to judge boxers by there fights early in there career but with Mundine you can't. He didn't have an amateur career. And right now, hes probably close to his peak. In that kessler fight Mundine was like a 2nd year apprentice. Now he has finished his apprenticeship. E.G im saying he has improved a lot.
And is the only serious challenger to kessler in the divsion. Bute has to be third behind Mundine. But Mundine is clearly the closest and biggest threat. If Danny Green looses, expect Kess to go down under to fight Mundine again, he has already stated that.
Welcome back chum...ain't seen you on here for a while. However, seeing as its a thread about SMW's I could guess who you were going to be bigging up.
What did you think of Mundine's performance on Monday night and what are the rumours about his next bout. Did he say anything afterwards about who he's targeting?
Have your first CC on Lefty for that.Quote:
