As far as who is better? Both have very different styles.
I like Cotto's style much more than I like Floyds but Floyd does have a very unique boxing style all of his own. Floyd fights with fear and Cotto fights fearless.
Cotto is now in his last phaze where he is working on defense. When he and Floyd meet, Cotto will be a much more complete fighter. He already has all the tools now it's just a matter of putting them all together in a mega super fight.

With due respect to Mosley, judah and all the others on Cotto's list. This is by far and away the hardest fight in his career deffo if it happens. If cotto wins you will only hear respect from me not how comes he aint fighting bla bla next and bla bla after that. Thats why i cant understand all this hate for PBF he only just knocked out a fighter many people thought he would really struggle if not lose against.

I voted for Cotto for no other reason than he's loosing by so much and I think this poll is silly and ridiculous why would any sane person have any reason to say Cotto is better than Floyd? And what will our oppinion have to do with their performance once they are in a ring together? Styles makes fights and a fight between these two would be a classic clash of boxer vs puncher, stalker vs counterpuncher, speed vs power and unstopable force meeting an imovable object and all those other fraces people come up with.
I don't care who is better, I don't care who would win. It is going to be a great fight and that is why I want to see it.

I don't know about this question. On paper, Floyd is actually better because he is at a level that Cotto aspires to reach. I believe Cotto has the style and intelligence to defeat Floyd, and I am sure Floyd will find a way to beat Cotto, but surely he will have the most difficulty he's had because Cotto isn't as slow and unskilled in coming forward as Hatton, Castillo, and Baldomir are.
