Bizarre things in the ring

The guy that turned around, ran and jumped onto the ropes, then turned around while he was on the ropes just to get knocked out by the other fighter who'd followed him over there.

What was his name? I forgot. Somebody used to have a video of it on here as their sig.

It was some blond kid who obviously didn't want to fight anymore he got hit and started running away then as he leaped over the top rope he turned his head and the other boxer punched him and threw him out of the ring.

Ooooooh ok. I thought he went to the corner to climb the ropes and raise his arms in victory and then turn around to see a punch coming and throwing him out of the ring. Now that would be some funny and bizarre stuff! ;D

Buster Mathis Sr. qualifies for me as a fighter who was the most Bizarre I've ever seen in a ring. Before he started training with Cus D'amato Mathis could have qualified as a fully fledged obese person. Yet he relied heavily on his hand and footspeed.

This speed was so good that he beat Joe Frazier in the Olympic qualifiers (twice I believe) only to lose his place on the team as a result of a broken hand. Before he turned pro her was swelled as a whale, but still well conditioned like i said and fast for a heavy!

I don't remember the fighters but if I remember correctly it was a black lady who was hitting the other guy from the outside with a purse, right? :laugh:

it was a light heavyweight bout between tony wilson and steve McCarthy and wilsons mum started hitting steve on the head with her high heel shoe. bizarley because he wouldnt continue he lost via a tko, but won the british title in his next bout. he later boxed Dariusz Michalczewski and Henry Maske in consecutive bouts and interetingly lost both on disqualification.
