Ricky Hatton will be remembered for dominating a division for a number of years. He beat P4P#2 in Tszyu and all the best 140's around. He hasn't ducked anyone at 140 and beaten all that was put infront of him at that weight.
If he beats Paulie, Witter, Pac or anyone who challenges him at 140 then he will be rememebered at the best. If someone comes into your turf and you beat them, you get respect and you get notoriety.
There is a lot to be said for dominating a division. Joe Calzaghe will go down as a great at SMW. Aaron Pryor did it at Light Welterweight and Ricky will go down as somoeone who dominated at LWW!
If he would have faced and beaten Cotto at lightwelterweight you would have been right...
I still can't find it in my heart to completely write off Ricky, I can't help but hope he can come back and unify the 140 division and dominate til he retires.
