Re: What does a a loss to Oscar at this stage do to Floyd's legacy?
I wouldn' hold a loss against Dela Hoya against Mayweather i mean he would be well out of his own weight but what would a win against Mayweather do for DLH's already well established legacy?

Of course I did bro but that's against "I use my head as defence" Ricardo Mayorga. Not Mayweather who is a defensive master. I am in AWE when I see this guy's defence in some of his fights! Anyway,Oscar has 1 big punch, the left hook. If Floyd nullifies that,Floyd wins.
As for the Tito point,Dude,Tito RUINED Mayorga and beat the punch resistance out of him,as he did to ALOT of Oscar opponents, before Oscar decided to fight them and steal the honours. Vargas,Campas,Carr etc etc etc. Tito gave them all shlackings, they were NEVER the same after Tito hammered them. Vargas went from a fresh faced youngster to a shot, punch drunk fighter after their fight,Oscar just picked up the pieces.Ditto Mayorga.
Ditto and OScar dropped MAyorga with that left hook because Mayorga was off balance
that wouldn't explain why he was hurt, also to El Game. Mayorga hadn't looked very good against SPinks already, he was the perfect opponent for Vernon FOrrest, but not a perfect opponent against speed or something who could box and punch. EIther way I don't think Mayorga looked any worse against Oscar or against Vargas than he did against Trinidad.
Re: What does a a loss to Oscar at this stage do to Floyd's legacy?
All it means is we get a 3rd fight and no Cotto until the end of 2009! Ouch!
Re: What does a a loss to Oscar at this stage do to Floyd's legacy?
If Cotto beats the right guys (Margarito, WIlliams, or Mosley again) he will continue to extent his legacy enough to force Floyd to fight him... I don't see there being PBF-ODLH 3 because once Floyd wins twice there will be no point for it. However, I wish Oscar was fighting somebody better than Steve Forbes because IMO he is going to rock this boy. I wish he fought a guy like COtto or Mosley(not likely he partner), or even Margarito who he would beat easily.
