I think if Ricky beats Paulie and Witter were to beat Rees or Torres, then Witter vs. Hatton will be massive.
I should point out though, that Witter is avoiding the fight with Wlad that I've been calling for for years.
I think that's completely untrue.. Maybe Hatton will need another win in order to get people excited, maybe... But I don't think it matters who Witter beats, the fight is already as big as it's going to be.. The 140 division just doesn't have any names that draw much public interest, besides Hatton. And that's why he feels like he can fight whatever bums he wants.

You keep saying this but you never back up these so called *Hatton hater* comments from me. Name one bit in my comment that was hating ?? all my comments were facts about each opposition. So is telling the truth hating now ??
I have told you time and time again that i do not hate Hatton and then you say *Ok ICB*. But when a Hatton topic gets brought up again you say im a Hatton hater because i have a different opinion, but in this case i told facts about each of Hatton's opposition, if you class that as hating thats up to you.

As for as I'm concerned I ain't seen you make a positive Hatton post, just criticism of him and if somebody does that, well then for me personally that make them a hater.

I think he's one of boxings most overrated fighters. Kostya Tsyzu and Jose Luis Castillo look good on his record. But anybody that believes they were still in there prime doesn't really know boxing. They were shot. Even lesser name fighters that he beat were old when he beat them. Vince Phillips, Freddie Pendelton, Ben Tackie and Rey Olivera. Other than that he's beaten garbage fighters. Michael Stewart? Dennis Pederson, Carlos Vilches? Come on now. The only 2 prime fighters he faced kicked his ass (Mayweather and Collazo). What's Hatton doing now? He's facing another shot fight in Lazcano. And avoiding a visible threat in Witter

Oh you must of missed me defending Hatton about Collazo fight, when majority of this board were saying Collazo got robbed. At first i did have Hatton winning by 1 point but after repeated viewings. I realized that most of Hatton's offense was sloppy and there was no snap to any of his punches. Plus Collazo hurt Hatton many times throughout the fight, Hatton may of landed about 40+ more punches than Collazo. But Collazo's punches had much more snap, and IMO a lot of Hatton's counted punches by punchstats were arms punches when he was clinching Collazo on the inside.
I also agree with VD that all of Hatton's best wins were against shot fighters, and even though you may hate to hear this but the only two times Hatton stepped in with a good prime fighter he was exposed.

Your opinion mate, fair enough and yet I could argue back but it won't change your opinion so there is not much point having an ongoing debate.
