Extremely surprised that I'm the only one who's mentioned SRR-Jake. Would have thought that made everyones list.....

That one is a little older but it was a great series, especially since it was 6 fights if I remember. Even tho Robinson won I think five of them, they were not at all boring(I wasn't around for 'em but I have tapes) and a few that could have went the other way. Only two were actual dominations and the rest were close.
Recently,no other series tops what we just saw,IMO.
John John Molina Vs. Tony Lopez was pretty good. One of the worst rematch beatings put on a guy (Lopez) that Ive seen in 2nd
Daniel Zaragoza Vs. Paul Banke (R.I.P) Is one of the best That hardly anyone ever mentions
Greg Haugen Vs. Vinny Pazienza
Thanks Mick,I live for the obscure and/or almost forgotten ;D.Rep on the rebound Mick .This one always sticks out as a very memorable for me.Back in the day when The three main Networks were dedicated and consistent in there Coverage of top notch Boxing. You could easily make a case of Molina being 2-1 in there meetings as to many peoples eyes the first should have been wrapped with a bow up ala christmas Morning. From what I remember and from what I have on tape, 5 rnds (damn partial trades) I Think Molina boxed his ears after that pretty Left hook deposited Tony on the deck in the 2nd.I believe it was about a 2 point difference on cards.
The rematch was just astonishingly one sided .I Like Lopez,A real battler and always looked to be a real good guy but within 50 seconds of the first round Molina was tearing into Lopez and nullified any thoughts Tony had of "walking through him "(Molina). He really was pulverized by stick and move and fast punches of Molina with Hooks, wicked rt.uppercuts and straight rights. The Cultish hometown fans in Sacramento were sitting on there hands and the P.A even played "eye of the tiger" in the 7th round to attempt a jump start for The Champion Lopez,To no avail.Lopez was all Nuts and guts with his rt(?) eye slammed shut and Molina even whipping Bolo Uppercuts through the 8th & 9th.The 10th began with Lopez Crossing himself in prayer and Molina charged out picking up his accurate on slaught ,Snapping Lopez's head and then almost unseen...A stiff hard jab Moved Lopez back and Ref. James gen kin (Spelling?) stepped in ,gave a subtle wave and raised Molinas hand. Then the classless "fans" In the Arco arena went apeshit, throwing cups of Ice,mats, and giving the ring and occupants a beer shower forcing Molina camp to haul arse to the dressing room.Fool's.The third Meeting was really fast paced and Molina was like a wind mill early but this time Lopez actually showed good defense :o with bob & weave and sitting down and countering. Both guys were all brass with exchanges but Lopez was sneaky with the Uppercut & straight rights and Molina seemed all to willing to endure them.Lopez showed power and on numerous occasions "moved" Molina with hard shots In a very close give and take even fight but Molina seemed to wither as his legs were dead.Lopez really came on strong like he was possessed late and caught Molina in the 11th with a so-so knockdown off a volley of right hands.Lopez was in role reversal here and marched forward hell bent on reclaiming title and chased Molina in 12th to end a great 3rd fight in a superb fellow trilogy. I ask In hindsight..WTF no forth fight Lol.These were great matches.Need coffee.
Well if we're including Trilogies the most notoriously tough had to be Saddler vs. Pep.
Greb vs. Tunney were wars too.
