I don't like it Saddo. I have been generous of giving rep to cool posters. My powerpunch is only 10. That's gonna make me look like a cheap B@stard if I give them zero on good rep remark.:(

No. I currently have 10 powerpunch. If I give someone 10 with their approved rep, does that mean I'll be giving away mine?

no that is not the case your rep stays the same you are doing it via your punch power... your rep count will not go down.

it is the same as before but you can choose how much you want to give.

I agree 100% man. I don't like the new system at all, really. I got crap rep and pussy punching power and I been on here for almost 3 years now. Doesn't bug me too much since its pretty juvienille to get upset over fake "rep" and shit. But it is a stupid system that has been easily exploited on here.

I just plain don't like the new forum in general as compared to the old one to be honest.

OK we will use El Gamo as you brought him up as a example.

say a new member posts a thread...

newbie here blah blah

and El Gamo wants to welcome him with a good rep.

El Gamo has a massive punch power of 52 he would be giving this new guy 52 reps and that might just stop him repping the new guy ((it might not)) but now he has the choice to give him 5 reps to welcome him to the board.

it is totally his choice ;)

I don't see the huge difference or really the problem with it.

The only thing different is the ten person rule and the sadclicks. I haven't gotten a single bad rep since this started :confused: I wouldn't mind getting one just to see what its like. But more than one and I will begin to mercilessly fuk you people up with my higher than average punch power.

I guess looking around I am still a newbie.Compared to boo-koo vets I see here I could not carry there jockstraps.At first I REALLY did not like the idea of changing over to rep.I thought It would generate a huge status mentality or "Vassels" if you will ;D that would divide up the forum In a way.The CC/SC system Was well balanced and seemed to generate alot of debates and convo in and of Itself.It was a one shot at a time deal and most of the time It was all on the front page for all to see...almost felt more valuable ??With the exception of logging on and seeing you have been SC'd 8 times by Phantoms and John Doe's with out them "owning" it I thought it solid

The new Rep system in a small way "takes It to a backroom".Instead of posting that you acknowledge some good points you just send rep and comment within The message area.You also see who It Is , It sort of Introduces you to many Members.A major thing Ive noticed contributing to A lot of rep flying around Is the fact that at times you literally can not Rep someone You really think merits it until you Pass some around....That always got me and I would love the 24 hour time line back.Of course I do not mind the shrapnel rep but I want it for a good point ,Good Insight or something else other than trying to simply make a quota.?

As we stand I would change the timeline,Thats It.We all know the unspoken pecking order around here and the substance of the members within.When you come down to it ,The reps and Power are nice to have bling. Its the words,knowledge,experience and all around contributions that are the most Immportant and telling

bro your very slowmotionly slow. since you are slow im sure that made sense to you :p;D you never give away your actual powerpunch. your just hitting them with reps that are equal to your power punch, but now saddo added a option where you can choose how hard you hit with your power punch. since you say you have 10 power punch, you can give anybody rep from 0-10 power punch depending on how hard you want to hit them with rep.
