So what do you think was in the bottle? Just water??? If it was JUST water then why did Panama say all that stuff about "the one I mixed"...it couldn't be just for a placebo effect.
Pryor was a great fighter but that fight gave me my doubts about how legit his record was.
Im certain i read into it somewhere..
Check out either wikepedia or boxrec on the actual fight.. Im sure it says there.. i found a few articles on it also i think.. It was some time ago so im not sure where you might find it.. But it is known as one of bert sugars classic tall tales..Lol
Bert Sugar:rolleyes:
What a space cadet;D
I read in a book once that after his retirement he wasn't too rich. His only treasure he kept from his boxing days was an article from a newspaper, which he carried in his breast pocket. It was the article on how Pep won a round without throwing a punch.
I'd like to believe that story because otherwise it means he died without any treasure in his life:(
A freind of myne told me they showed the fight on ESPN classic and Willie actually did not throw a punch....I think he is lying.
It's more likly Pep said he was gonna do it and just landed a few counters here and there just to show he could have smashed him.
Bert sugar love this one everytime i see him on ESPN classic he has to mention it lol.
That Tex Cobb is a fat lazy coke user
Because as Tex himself pointed out,"Im not fat" when the charge was made
How does perrier water help fighters breath?
