I couldn't stop laughing at the people who were actually thinking about it. I mean Valero had just won a title and the best opponent he had faced was Mosquera.
It was a bad idea then I still think it's a bad idea now.
On any other ocassion I would say that the fighter (in this case Pac) does not need a gimmie fight since Pac already had one with Diaz. But being that this is Pac and he's fought top caliber fighters I guess Pac can get away with it.
But my POV is that Pac blasts him out badly, just as bad as Diaz. If he doesnt it would be because Pac would be too cautios of Valeros power.
I wouldn't say Diaz was a gimme Hell David was the bigger man, But Pac did make him look like a gimme ;D

To me it was a gimmie having seen Diaz fight since 2004 I pretty much knew what was going to happen.
What Pac did here was like if Joan Guzman moved up in weight and fought Yusuke Kobori or something like that...
Did you see Diazs horrible performance vs. Montana in his prep fight for Pac? He looked slow which he is and he just didn't look the part.
Holt outboxed him and then sparked em out.
As I said in another thread to me this is like when PBF moved up in weight and fought Gatti. Anyone who PRIOR to the fight didn't see what was coming MUST have been blind.

I see what you mean about his power but I'd still be shocked to see him beat Pac.
