Although not under-rated because it was fight of the year awhile back: does anyone have the youtube link to those 2 french fighters that just beat the hell out of each other? I cant think of the names.

You mean Mahyar and Somsak FOTY 2006?
If so ONLY Mahyra is French and Somsak is Thai.
Here's the link to that fight.

I personally don't think fights that are FOTY are underrated but I think due to the fact that both fighters were pretty obscure at the time this fight is an exception for me and I def. agree with you booze.
Re: Most Underrated Fights Ever
I always liked
Rocky Lockridge v Tony Lopez 1
Tyrone Trice v Simon Brown 1
Re: Most Underrated Fights Ever
I judge good fights by whether or not they keep me on the edge of my seat and Tyson-Holyfield I had me standing the entire time. It's a shame that the bite fight rematch in a way kind of erased the memory of this fight. Mike getting dropped for the first time since Buster Douglas, getting up off the canvas and throwing combos like he would in the 80s, and Evander standing and going toe to toe with him. Holyfield going in for the kill at the end was the stuff of warriors. IMO very underrated fight.

Really? That was such a destruction for Hamed. Sanchez came in the ring looking like Elvis and fought like him.

Hardly a one sided fight though. You do remember Sanchez left on a stretcher and would later be forced to retire as he sustained serious damage in later part of career??
Re: Most Underrated Fights Ever
Rafael Ruelas vs. Freddie Pendleton I remember seeing this yrs. ago when it happened and then having the opp. to see it again... Wow! what a fight Ruelas comes back.

Sanchez dropped Hamed twice. And they weren't called.
