In both fights Cotto suffered severe bleeding inside his mouth due to punishment, yet he never seemeed rocked badly.
I think this confirms the theory that weight drain was affecting Cotto at the end of his Light Welterewight days.
I really agree , who can say that Cotto has been rocked badly on 147 pnd. contrary to 140 pnd. ? , Nobody
Everybody knows what happened to Cotto on JWW Div........like Donny commented
I dont think in still believing about what happened to Cotto on JWW Div.... , he now is in other Div.......in which had get enough improvements without any problems.................
I think this is true.
Of course Tony will test his chin, but I think Cotto will be able to take it provided he doesn't allow Tony connect too frequently.
Cotto sometimes shown that like to teste the power of his opponent inside , like he did with Judah , if he assimilate the Margaros power , he will not going have problem coming inside more frequently............

He definitely likes to gauge how hard his opponent can hit early in the fight, I'm not sure how he'll approach this one however.
Tony won't hit as hard as Judah, but he'll attempt to hit him much more frequently and many more times.

I think Tony is alot more dangerous than the average fighter, because he possesses more than respectable power he might not be a concussive puncher, but his accumulative effect happens alot sooner since his sheer mind blowing volume, but his punch selection is way underrated, he fills in the gaps better than anyone in the game and finishes with the best of them... If Tony so much as buzzes Cotto and makes his legs buckle like with Corley or Torres then the fight is over Margarito dosent waste a drop of his punches and they are all thrown with purpose... The way he attacks you from head to toe looks like his opponents fighting 2 guys at once with punches coming in at all angles ....

I concur.
I feel it's his volume, (could I call it educated volume?) that does most damage.
In any bout, it is inevitable that a punch will hurt you. Margarito multiplies this probability with his output, accuracy and timing.
