I cannot see it. I see his only ticket to winning is by knockout early or cutting Pavlik up, which he can do. If you got a guy that is 4X as busy and who fights full three minute rounds, it will be hard to out point him.

100 more what against Hopkins? I still find it hard to believe when people classify what Joe does as punching. Pavlik throws real punches as apposed to Joe's slaps! If you ask me, Bernard will be more worried about Kelly's offense than he was against Joe's.

You see him throwing punches and landing, and they don't appear as yet dangerous but maybe could be soon, but...BUT...then you look at a person like Locketts face was 3 rounds in...and realize it was quickly being taken apart...a shot at a time. His punches carry damage. Enzo knows this. He saw it up close and tossed the towel. Otherwise we'd be talking about the Pavlik/Calzaghe fight coming up...not Hopkins.

Pavliks fists are bigger than most Heavyweight Champions in History from recollect I think only 2 had bigger fists than Kelly.
I can see Pavlik winning this decisively if he's assertive - he has the reach and power to punish Hopkins but if he lets Bernard control the tempo and sits back like Howard Eastman did then Pavlik won't look good.
I think Kelly will finish Hopkins off.

Locket looked like he had a broken nose after the second knockdown. Great thing with Pavlik is is short deilvery for such a tall guy. He pushes that right hand right out and for pushing punches still packs great power. He has one of the best jabs in all of boxing. He throws it hard and lands it. Those stinging jabs really help him land the right and by that time you cant really see it coming.

Took a knee against Taylor? You make it sound like he elected to do it when in reality he was hammered to the floor and allover the place. Took a knee haha thats absurd.
Miranda was well weight drained and it has been well documented. Anyone who'd seen Miranda punch before could see he didn't have the usual snap too his shots.

Lacy looked more scary than Pavlik does leading up to the fight with Joe and Kessler would school Pavlik yet Joe pasted him.
I wonder why Arum has yet to mention Abrahams? i guess going by some logic that Pavlik is ducking him, yes, yes i shall drop down to a powerpuncher fans intelligence and now claim that Pavlik is ducking Abrahams. After all Hopkins cleaned up 160 before he left the division and he is a top 30 160lb all time fighter.

Guess you must have missed the Zuniga fight. Put it this way Calzaghe has depleated Uranium in his jaw and has been down 3x in a 19yr pro Career. Pavlik has been down against smaller men 3x in his 7yr pro career.

Edison Miranda was on the back foot against Kelly Pavlik and couldn't get any real power into his shots because he isn't good fighter on the back foot thats why most of his punches were arm punches i wouldn't say Kelly Pavlik has a dodgy chin i think his chin is solid enough but it isn't granite either he has been hurt and put down quite a few times in his career.
